All of the places are aesthetically pleasing. However, that second unit, for that price, should definitely have another bathroom and the laundry units in there. Also, Tyler is a whole vibe. He is giving Big Shawn and Patrick Cloud energy. Love it. Please do more videos with him.
I lived in a very raw, 2000 sq ft x 19 ft ceilinged warehouse loft in Chicago in the 90s. It was freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer, but I LOVED IT! It was a Lionel toy train factory in the 1940s - 80s, next door to a garment factory. Best home I ever had. $700 per mo, utilities included. The neighbourhood has since been gentrified, so I couldnt afford to live there now...
So true....I was attacked by a dog and that's exactly what they said. They also tried to say it only scratched me. It ripped my pants and I had fang holes in my thigh. To top it off....they were upset with me because their dog was put in quarantine after my dr. reported the bite.
I have to say that I initially started watching these videos to see the real estate, but as someone who has never been to NYC, but would love to go, I really appreciate the neighborhood tours!
I grew up in New York state and spent a lot of time in the city growing up. I have a bit of hippie in me but for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would want to live in a closet in the village when they could have these much larger and nicer places in Williamsburg or lots of other places in Brooklyn or Queens for the same or less. I have gotten numb to the rents in NYC from watching your videos. I caught myself saying "$3600 is a good deal for that." 😂
I agree....for the same price you get a beautiful new apartment vs. a dump! Only one train stop into Manhattan and a decent neighborhood. My only hesitation with the last apartment is it facing 5G towers.
Same. I mean I had an entire house and yard in Brooklyn, lovely neighborhood for well under 2K. In my twenties I used to insist that my friends come out to Brooklyn and Queens for Sunday Brunch, instead of me dragging myself to Manhattan all the time. 😅
These apartments are really nice and the tiling for the bathroom is pretty damn clean. I also really love that location because it's close to a lot of great stores and Trader Joes is a big plus. However, it's williamsburg and those prices are not surprising.
Dude, love the video but FYI the ferry isn't that bad price wise. It used to be the same price as the subway, $2.75. But they recently raised it to $4, which is still not bad (especially in the summer where you can hang out on the roof).
It's also the most efficient way to get to the beach over the summer too, if you're going to Jacob Riis or Rockaway Beach, especially with the Rockaway Rocket route they introduced this summer which is express from Wall Street to Rockaway. For some transit deserts like in parts of the Bronx, it's also useful (if they plan the stations properly ofc)
Hate the concept of sharing a terrace with access to my apartment with a possibly sociopathic neighbor. That would freak me out. Wake up to them standing outside your door looking in....Or every time you go outside they come out and want to talk to you.
@@yezzum Exactly,if I am paying that much than I shouldn't have to worry about someone else on the patio. What if I want to hardly wear any clothes and sun,or just listen to music with headphones? An annoying, intrusive neighbor would really be a bummer. It is a nice apartment though.
I love both apartments but the second one is my favorite by far. I'm telling you you don't even have to go out in the neighborhood to take a jog or ride your bike you can just use the terrace! 🤣
In such an upscale building, it's disappointing that the 3 bedroom has only one bathroom. Laundry should be included with the rent rather than having to pay additional for in-unit laundry. Makes me wonder what other "hidden fees" may be lurking around the corner. I liked the first one bedroom the best, if someone is able to afford the rent or split the rent between a working couple.
Love your videos, positivity, and the interactions with random people you come across. 1:50 Probably one of the better descriptions of what is actually going on with those huge hedge fund firms
Cash, before I forget thank you for your videos! This will be a very special Christmas for you, your wife and Lily since you have a new member of the Jordan Family! Wayne
Hi Cash Jordan, I must say your video's keep getting even better than they already were. I really like how you show the neighborhood and tell about how you could get around. Keep up the good work!
Now THIS place looks actually inviting and homey straight off! This is the most attractive place that you’ve shown so far and I’ve looked at a lot of the places you have shown! Exciting
#1 & 3 are great with the latter being the best value but I didn't see any home laundry! #2 does not work as for 3 beds you need 2 baths! Love the neighbourhood of course.
That second apartment should have been a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with the washer and dryer already connected without any additional fees, especially for the monthly rent. New York City really knows how to nickel and dime people.
Love NYC and love your channel. I'm from Montreal and have been to NY several times but watch your videos purely for the love of your city and mainly because I find your videos super fun and entertaining.
3:03 now that my speed. You guys go have your fun on your scooters. I'll have fun on mine..lol. xo These new york buildings and their *amenities* are slowly introducing ya'll to communal living. The scary part is it's so easy to persuade you to it.
I'm a few videos deep and I've noticed a theme. All the bathrooms have that popular subway tile vibe. Now I totally understand the clean understated class it provides for we that live in the burbs. But why is it so popular in the inner city. Y'all like pissing in the subway? Last thing I'd want to be reminded of when I go home.
WOW! I LIKED THAT! That one bedroom is a lot of money at $5K/month but look at all the space you get and the proximity to Manhattan proper! That's a lot of bang for your buck! The $8400K/month 3 bedroom is nice, but I wouldn't spend that type of money on rent. The second one bedroom at $3600/month would do me just fine! My only petty reservation was the joke of a gym. Machines on top of one another (but in defense of management they know that not too many people will be using the equipment anyway) and the 50lb dumb bells. Really? Ugh...
Oh my goodness that Christmas photo of Violet is amazingly adorable. One of the best quality and backdrop settings ive seen. My kids do NOT look near that nice. Just finished video took me forever w kids and things to do....🙃🤪
Native New Yorkers constantly tell me to buy outside nyc because they say it’s not the city we grew up in and they are right. That prospective renter finally convinced me. It’s a beautiful place but a native would be surrounded by interlopers.
I love how cash goes to these super nice super expensive apartments and just starts slamming Sh1t around lol. I can't be the only that notices how rough he is with these places....he snatches open doors slams things shut. Yanks tf outta the sink sprayer all the time lol... look at how he yanks opens the terrace door at 7:23 🤣🤣🤣
Everything was gorgeous: Building, bathrooms (love the design choices), layouts, views. If I could afford it (and if I was moving to NY), I'd definitely consider this one.
It looks pretty. When you see the kitchen right next to the entrance door it is the same as any other outdated apartment. For that price having a closet by the door, second bathroom even if it is a half bathroom with a washer and a dryer is a must and a huge walk in closet.
How come on a $4500/ mo apt there's still some tiny kitchen w no counter space? Do they do that bec most ppl eat out. The one bedroom finally had an awesome kitchen
I’ve watched a lot of these videos and this is my fav building so far. View, design, great use of space. Price? Well honestly idk how anyone lives in New York it’s crazy expensive.
My 5 year LG side by side refrigerator stopped working this week. LG put in a compressor, dryer assembly and a condenser. It had the 10 year warranty . I had tonpaid $300 for the labor and that it.
Lol 😄 'Police presence looking a little light' ... it's alright you just had your second kid ... you're allowed a few dad jokes ... Makes me wonder 🤔 Does sleep deprivation have anything to do with dad jokes?
Park benches are purposely uncomfortable to discourage the homeless. The one-bedroom apartment has high-end fixtures, but the kitchen doesn't have much counter space. I guess if you can afford $5,000 rent you can afford to eat out a lot. I would not pay $8,350 to share one bathroom with two other people, so even with a great terrace I'd cross the second one off my list. If the last one is really $3,650, it's a better value. That said, all these prices boggle my mind. BTW, did you notice how Cash pointed out the lack of terrace privacy to that prospective renter?
Its crazy what 60k a year of rent can get you in NY. Like tbh its a mid looking apartment than you dont even have for yourself completely. Its not surprising but yeah its always crazy to see
Love the style of the apartments. I don’t live in the city of New York but if I wanted to relocate I would definitely contact you guys… Awesome places.
I have seen the second building with the high dollar apartments. That guy in the first apartment I have seen before. He has some decent priced places. That place was big compared to the second one at the same price. Great New York places to stay. See ya

Have to agree, for over 8k a month rent and only 1 bathroom to service 3 bedrooms, that's not going to be very comfortable, and no laundry in unit.
