Why I love watching him Alex Rudd is one of the most honest when it comes to not being a sellout and telling you if the baits good the standards in diffrent categories the ol reliable baits and isnt afraid to try other company's stuff
Great vid again and awesome meeting you in August at Old Hickory with Charlie Ingram and Ray Brazier before you launched to tape a show! The Frittside 5 is a great fish catcher late winter and pre spawn as you said and also you won't hit bottom 6+ feet with 12# fluorocarbon line, lone ranger color is really good around smaller shad and minnows. Keep the great content coming!
The friggin Tackle Test has returned!!(or have I missed a few?)Bub,I live along a fairly major river system here in West By God Virgina,&The Frittside is a fish catcher during all cold water(winter,pre-S,)& its a gr8 multi species tool in current.Big smallmouth & Big Walleye.I am stoked to see the 5 .gr8 episode,& we don't perticularly care about the name of Berkleys cheif of painting baits'..good2know,though
I've had the catwalk since the day it was released. Won't lie im a 6thsensefishing hoe. But it definitely has its place within the walking bait category. Have had huge success throwing it for spots here in California on Oroville and Shasta Lake as well and monster bass in the Delta when they have seen all super big walking and glide type baits thrown at them. It definitely is universal for me and thsts why its always on my boat. Good content John really respect and love what you do for the fishing community. Look forward to all new videos and cheering for you in the Elites sir.
Caught a 2.5lb largemouth first time out with the Fritzside 9 yesterday on a heavily pressured small lake. It was a tough day of fishing and I barely caught 5 fish total.
The problem I’ve found with them is that they are not super durable. The frittside that is. I was throwing it on KY lake during our college tourney and broke 2 of the bills on the size 5. That’s the on,y complaint I have about them
I like the catwalk bait, haven't gotten into the jika, Tokyo style.rigs to much. Have them, but haven't thrown many. I do like the fritts size 5 model, haven't got any deeper.ones yet. Now that Nishine lure works has multiple bait styles, fast floating slow float round bill shallow plugs, jerkbaits, soft plastics and some more I think it would be cool for you do brand tests for companies like Nishine lure works, geecrack USA, o.s.p. etc...
This is why John is awesome. Not scared to to videos talking about other companies products. He tells it like it is good or bad

The crank bait reminds me of the manns razorback.
Thanks for the tackle test, I also bought a dozen of your bags they are perfect.
Glad you like them!
Can't wait to get the Gika Rig and put it to use!! I know the Tokyo Rig works, and this makes it even better!!
Can u explain some the difference in a coffin style bill compared to a standard bill?
Just shape. Other factors dictate the action.

That Frittside 5 is legit. Catches big bass too. Lip is very fragile though.
And burning the catwalk with slight pause 🔥🔥🔥spottedbass can’t stand it on Lanier
