Honestly, I would much rather see a story about the two of them in a gang war with the civilians and whatever hero they decide to put together with Batman caught in the middle

Nekron and Knull working together to plunge the universe in darkness would make a lot more than Darkseid and Knull. I could see Nekron freeing him from his prison to help its shared goal.

Ultron and Brainiac are two characters that make so much sense to join forces. Honestly, Ive always thought Knull and Nekron would be an unfathomable multiversal threat as the two of them embody the complete blackness of the universe before creation, so both of them would have a common objection since they use either Symbiotes or Black Lantern Rings to spread their control over the multiverse. Another terrifying team-up would be Deathstroke and Sabretooth, as both of them are assassins/hitmen who have a burning hatred for their respective heroes, i.e. Nightwing and Wolverine, and both Slade and Victor Creed have healing factors that they can both use in their favour
For Joker and Green goblin I have a feeling they'd work together but will end up fighting each other at the end whether because 1. The heroes will play with their egos thinking one is better than the other which will result in them trying to take each other out 2. Green goblin will do something insane that even the joker would find unironically insane 3. Either Joker or Green goblin will be annoyed by how insane one of them are.
