I inject this and it doesn’t hurt at all. Very tiny needle and I hate shots. No side effects at all and I never started pills only injections.

I had to quit taking it because it was interfering with my kidney function. I cant afford the $1000.00 co pay on Humira so I dont know what Im going to do .Our government sucks.

Have you tried copay assistance? If you have Medicare, you might be able to find a program that bypasses the government and will pay for Humira for you.

I’m also starting to show that my kidney functions are off. I wish my rheumatoid Dr would just let me stop all treatments. I’m sixty I just want to enjoy my retirement days.

I'm taking the oral, but it makes me nauseous , times I can't keep what I eat, dizziness, mouth sores and a whole other side effects. I took embrel but it quit working so we tried humira. I then developed breast cancer near the lymph nodes so no more humira. I might need to talk to my doctor about injections.

I started methotrexate injections about a month ago. The thought of injecting myself was too much to handle, so I bought a gadget that I put the filled syringe into and just push the button for it to inject me. Kind of like a reusable Humira housing. It’s working well for me.

@@rebeccaleopold6301 I recently started the injections cause I was losing a lot of weight but I feel that it’s affecting my liver and today when I had labs my kidney function was off. If I could I wouldn’t take anything but my rheumatoid Dr isn’t willing that I already have joint damage so if I stop it get worse .

@@la1163 oh man, I am so sorry you are going through all that. RA is bad enough, but adding cancer into the mix…what does the oncologist say? How do they coordinate care for you?
