Here we go again: from January 13 to 18, the LAAX OPEN 2020 returns as one of the most renowned snowboard competitions in the world!
When and where? As its name suggests, this event brings together the best snowboarders in the world in Switzerland, in Laax, at Crap Sogn Gion. The highlights will take place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 January with the snowboard slopestyle and halfpipe finals.
Who? The world snowboard elite will meet in Laax for a showdown and will give their all during the FIS Snowboard World Cup in the three-award-winning "World's Best Freestyle Resort". Last year's winners, Chloé Kim and Scotty James, will be competing, among others.

Where can I get a Karl Hediger so I know how the season will be next year, wasn't he spot on about the 2020 season - massive snowfalls for Europe and then they cut the season in half in early March..... And respect to the guys at Laax. I went there years ago in 2006 and skied the superpipe and slop style jumps, really nicely shaped and clean. Am considering a trip there next season.
