We love him...no matter what team he is in.
There was no need for the accolades bit. The thank you was nice, but I felt he was a bit obnoxious especially the sitting away from the team bit. He didn’t seem humble at all, which would have been nice for the Oklahoma fans. Every fan in there knows his accolades and his amazing feat with the triple doubles and Oklahoma loves him, more than any other player in the league.
Russell is one of the main reasons why OKC didn't win a championship even though he was also a big reason why they were championship contenders if you get what I'm saying. Russell has the talent and heart to be a champion and I'll always respect him for that part, but he tends to be overly aggressive and get in his co star's way.

Derrick Lee harden lost to portland in 2014 and the spurs in 2017. Also lost to gsw in 2015 that has no KD, lost in 2016 with no steph not kd and lost in 2019 where kd got injured. Harden is a total loser who flops all the tine

Skip is 100% wrong here. This night was and SHOULD'VE been special for Russ. He spent 11 years in OKC and I guarantee that if they didn't want to rebuild, he would've stayed. They mutually agreed to part ways because both sides needed a reboot.
Russ obviously took that heart because he wanted the win badly. The Rockets just didn't have the same energy after playing a great game here in Atlanta the night before. On top of that, the Thunder/CP3 really wanted that win too.
I liked what I saw from Harden during the game though. It's clear they wanted it for Russ, but he understood that it just wasn't their night.

KD earned his right to leave OKC. He gave them 100% every single night and it just didn't pan out. So he left to the best place he could go and carried those Warriors to two titles. Really could've been 3 had he not had his injury.
Harden got moved and he's been nothing but a class act in Houston. People hate on him because of his style of play, but he's turned Houston into a contender for the first time since the Olajuwon days.
Westbrook is as loyal as they come. He stayed in OKC for his entire prime. He loves the Thunder, but even Thunder fans can't be mad at him for leaving. He tried his best and you gotta respect that.

FACTS. I don't agree with you regarding KD though. If he had gone somewhere else then yeah I would. He joined a 73 win team that beat him the previous year coming back 3-1 down. Also KD shot 41%fg & 28%3pt in the 2016 WCF, he could have performed better. As a fan of the Thunder, I was glad Russ moved on. He did what he could do, now someone else can live with him jacking up a bunch of shots when he should be deferring. Westbrook is humble and always have been.. The shoes and shirt wasn't meant to be that deep, skip. They were saying thank you to OKC. When you have passion it’s hard for others to understand how bad you truly want it. Harden played terrible, the team overall looked bad, Russ had good game, and the Thunder had more energy than the Rockets. The whole point of the game was about Russ. Literally everyone had a Westbrook Thunder Jersey. So idk what Skip is talking about...
