The detail is heaven sent! Thank you!!Still working on everything separately and “filling the gaps” as you always say. I have a bent press now which has helped with the balance and strength perspective. Trying to get of the bend in the lower back through mobility. It’s so difficult to get rid of 🍌. Would appreciate a follow along shoulder opener if anyone else needs it!
For PPT make sure your quads and Hip Flexors aren't tight. Then check you can do some easy tilting laying on your back, you should be able to easily push low back to floor while holding a conversation. If thats good then focus on head to toe mobility and improving balance. The line and PPT will then get better with time, don't try to force it
Legend Paul. Your exercises have been a real reset for me. Had a tendonitis issue in my elbow and lost a lot of my progress, but in doing so realised that I actually needed to desperately go back to the fundamentals, since I never got more than one or two reps out of my handstand push-up. Always found it really hard to keep alignment and get a good hip hinge, but after following some of your drills and building my compression strength, got the press to handstand and working on my handstand push-ups again now.
My true goal is planche (and planche pushups), but learning handstand and hspu seem to be milestones on that journey, so I'll be putting this info to use.
Getting back to the free HSPU practice next week. I felt I had too much HSPU in sets of 1-2 (including concentric) the last month and getting back to it using a periodization "schedule". HSPU is such a cool move that I was doing too much of it .
HSPU is my ultimate goal. Getting very strong in pike pushup but handstand balance is so difficult... Feels like i barely make any progress. Going to take forever
Paul - I got my handstand pushup in January but I haven’t progressed much, I can only do three bad reps or one clean rep,m after training every other day. Do you think I should train sets of one rep or should I go on the wall and to chest to wall HSPU?
The kickup is really difficult for me, i cant hold the handstand back to wall but i can do it chest to wall. And most of the times I cant enter the handstand doing kickup. And the balance aspect is impossible for me idk why, I have improved a little bit doing freestanding 2s starting with a chest to wall but thats it
Im thinking on skipping the kickup and learning to do handstand back to wall by force, doing a press. I'll try to get more strength doing the exercises

Also PPT control seems to be not there? How to increase that awareness?

Yes they feed off each other! Working Planche and HSPU is a great combo

Sounds good, enjoy the journey. Probably my favourite skill
I am trying to get stronger shoulders in my room. Thank you mister.
Awesome
Thanks 🤙
No problem 👍

We should combine into one. My handstand balance is good, but need more strength!
Consistent regular practice and it will come
Thanks :) i can only do very unclean banana hspu, i will try this!
Great, hope it helps

Hard to say 100% without assessing but I would recommend doing both. So training 1 rep skill plus reps of working sets at an easier progression
up to 18 months! NO. Why is the progress so slow.
