England remind me of the Springboks in 2018 except the springboks had not changed coaches. If they can fix the basics, first time tackles, minimize basic errors, good scrumming and mauling, decent ruck speed and keep to the basics, it will be something to build on. As a French fan I have a message for my English friends : I apologize for the idiotic and insulting comments made by some of our compatriots in this video. This isn't the early 1990's anymore, there is no hate between French and English rugby. Only respect. These French morons seem to forget that England regularly thrashed us not too long ago, so it would be good if they showed a little class and humility. Yes it was a great win but England currently have an average/weak generation. So as the French saying goes : "Winning without peril is winning without glory". England I'm sure will be back with a vengeance.
This other Frenchman sides with you, the Brits invented both rugby and fairplay, we MUST steal both. Pour la France! Jokes aside: it really pisses me when the winners of the night start flexing, just be humble, people, class and elegance will get you farther than boasting about a necessarily temporary dominance.
That english man showing the fingers not even looking at the singing french fans eyes doing this gesture was not manly at all. More like a little child :D
This defeat could actually be really beneficial for England to wipe the slate clean, rebuild and come back stronger. France had a very similar experience when they were smashed by England at Twickenham in 2019. Team looked in total disarray before the RWC but almost changed the squad overnight with the likes of Dupont, Ntamack, Ramos, Ollivon, Alldritt and should have made the semis in Japan. For England, expectation will be very low, morale crushed, but it's as good an opportunity to have a proper clean out and get a new crop in. The only concern for them now is whether the new crop from the Premiership are up to the standard they think they are!
French fans dress in comical stereotypes and always enjoy a match even after they've lost. I've seen French fans applauding and congratulating a good opponent. English fans dress as crusaders and as colonial red coats and only enjoy a win. Says everything about attitudes to sport and to other nations. Looks dated and awful.

Yesterday, France inflicted on England the biggest defeat at home in History. It was a huge success, for sure. And, as a French fan, I really enjoyed this victory. But the French must not believe they are now the best. At first because they will lose the VI nations next week. And also because, during the world cup, it will not be a fight just against Ireland but also against NZ, South Africa and Australia. If they are too confident, maybe they won't even make it to the semis.

France negligently fell short of the legendary 10-66 scoreline which would have caused Twickenham to spontaneously burst into flames. Oh well, next time.
england live in a rugby bubble, far too much waxing lyrical about the premiership . if thats the best they can pick , ireland waiting . play like that again and its hammertime again. france were outstanding completely outplayed england in every aspect of the game. where was smith, the invisible flyhalf . the american who sounded clueless at the end must have been advising borthwick lol
The most insightful comment came from that elderly English woman, who said that she thought rugby was a game where you picked up the ball and ran with it! But all England seemed to do was to kick possession away. England should build a game where you keep the ball in hand. To do that you will need to improve immensely your technical passing skills and work at the breakdown
France played beautifully, and England was very disappointing, in many aspects of the game. Today Ireland, France, NZL and SA are the best teams in the world, and there is a gap between them and the rest of Tier 1 rugby. I still think England will bounce back from that, and the WC will probably end honorably against a stronger team in the quarters of the WC. Out of pride, I can see them having a decent performance against Ireland in Dublin this week-end, though there is no way I can see them winning there (Ireland is too solid). English fans, don't lose hope. For better or for worse, things change very quickly in top-level sports.
England have a long way back to the top table in world rugby . Borthwick should now concentrate on the 3 R's - Beef, Brains and Backs. Beef up the physicality, use the brain to be more aware of strategy and tactics on the field, and train the backs to be more fluid, creative and accurate.
England seemed to have bottled it as they have done so many times in the past. They talk a good game, but that was a complete embarrassment, especially at home.
I think England are holding a grudge against Webb Ellis for picking up and running with the ball instead of kicking it. May be kicking it away is their way of getting back at him.
England will get more from this game, than the French, this will light a fire in them, and they will be ready for payback in the worldcup, the French did us a big favour.

@@timphillips9954 what they've won 13 consecutive games before losing to ireland, So I dont u understand your point.
Good luck taffy, you'gonna need it
Look how Liverpool got on yesterday
Sport is funny like that
You’ll do very well next week .
I can feel it
@@sotv72 England will need more luck than Wales, England were dreadful all over the field absolutely dreadful
The French just love to have a laugh in rugby, yes they are a bit crazy, but generally speaking, they love to have a good time with their opponents too, but for some reasons it’s not always easy with zee rosbeefs, my advice, next time a French wants to invite you, don’t hesitate you will have a memorable moment ami rosbeef 😂
All top tier teams have been here before , France were brilliant and we couldn’t get near them . Some really good gracious French fans there .
France kicked the ball more than England. There’s kicking and then there is kicking.
Jonny Wilkinson said in commentary that this is the change England rugby needs, can they win in Dublin, impossible. But hopefully they can at least put a more gutsy, passionate performance together and build on that
Win or loose, France or England, it doesn't matter. Rugby is beautiful.
England remind me of the Springboks in 2018 except the springboks had not changed coaches. If they can fix the basics, first time tackles, minimize basic errors, good scrumming and mauling, decent ruck speed and keep to the basics, it will be something to build on. The players are there and we need the English for rugby to do well. Good luck for Ireland, I may be rooting for the English as underdogs there for once. P.s: please drop “can Portsheet”.
Well done France brilliant team. England are embarrassingly poor. Vive la France 🇫🇷 🎉
they 're not, we 've been better this time, but it's only sport..... let's be best friends within "Europe's" bullshits, you are our closest cousins, and notihing else matters...... 😉😀
@@crazyjackfr no we are not
Don't worry England we ie South Africa took a 56-12 spanking from NZ and we survived and eventually bounced back.
It certainly does sting though.
Looking forward to Goode and James explaining what went wrong with favorites England.

Leaving a match early because you’re losing is so childish
Ever walked out of a movie, or switched TV off because it's crap?
@@maxwellfan55 Yes, but I don’t watch a film to support it and cheer it on.
@@barryoffeastenders Actually some do, you can watch sport on telly you know. People have different ways to display their displeasure, it makes no difference. These people have spent an awful lot of money or made sacrifices to attend, they are not obliged to remain if they do not want to, that is not childish.
In the past it was common to throw rotten cabbages at dire performances, like theatre etc. and this was dire.
@@maxwellfan55 There was nothing dire about it! The French were incredible!! Surely as a rugby fan you’d want to stay and appreciate the sport being played beautifully? Instead of throwing your toys out the pram because your team aren’t winning? Typical Twickenham fans who are only interested in rugby during the six nations.
@@barryoffeastenders Don't pick on me, I wasn't there. I'm just telling you that if ticket paying fans choose to go home early because they are dissatisfied it their right to do so, and has nothing to do with being childish, or feeling obliged to stay because you, or anyone else thinks they shouldn't.
Clearly you don't agree, and take highly generalised assumptions over Twickenham fans you've never met.
Now who's being childish?
What a strange comment🙄. Of course France deserve to Smash england.

As an Irish man. This has been coming for a few years now !
England Rugby has tried to turn its premiership rugby.. into the Premier league .. it's all about Money 💰 and telling you how great it is and how fantastic it is it's the best league in the world ..blah blah blah.. they Concentrate more on the American style entertainment event ! And not actual rugby. I told my English friends 3/4 years ago before Covid..teams ware going to go bankrupt ! They laughed 😅 they now agree..but they were suckered into the media hype.
Hopefully you guys come back soon
Yup, I understand he's annoyed as was I but doing that with you're kid is something
And he had his young son with him .. sad muppet
The third one is naturally red-faced, raised on red wine?
I love the old british dude with the hat so much.
first english old dude is brillant. First hes so disgusted, but in a sec his british sense of humor comes back and he laughes of it.
Love the English man with the hat your right stay in pub and enjoy the Gunness im irish and I felt sorry for England but they will get there France were just unreal
Why do you feel sorry for England. I would say very well done to France and england were useless. Not I feel sorry for england JEeeeeus.
Been waiting for this to be posted 😂😂😂
More of this pls this is quality lol
Need this at the World Cup.
The chariot did carry the English support home.... EARLY!
As a Saffer I'm truly sad I missed this 😥
Yesterday, France inflicted on England the biggest defeat at home in History.
We French don’t hate zee rosbeefs, we just like mocking them and tease them, nothing personal just keep the rivalry between two old proud empires ! Allez les Bleus! Joan of Arc would be happy tonight! And England will be back…but please after the World Cup
If there was a Lions tour being selected now the only England player I would 100% have in the squad is Courtney Laws.
And Genge
England fans need this feeling . Need to learn to be humble for once.😉🤣
10 years in the waiting for France ..... England's day will return
As a french, i just want to say : English people, you are our brothers and sisters. In Europe, we are those who made history. Respect and love.
As a Scot Then I'm loving it.

HAVE YOU BEEN ENTERTAINED!!
Guy from Boston ? Was a muppet..
Can't even blame Wayne Rooney hes retired. 🇮🇪☘🤭🤣😅😁
England have a long way back to the top table in world rugby . Borthwick should now concentrate on the 3 R's - Beef, Brains and Backs. Beef up the physicality, use the brain to be more aware of strategy and tactics on the field, and train the backs to be more fluid, creative and accurate.
‘Plain old boring England’- interesting comment. It’s a while since the semi- final of the Workd Cup we thrashed the Kiwis
England seemed to have bottled it as they have done so many times in the past. They talk a good game, but that was a complete embarrassment, especially at home.
The young English fan was very reluctant to give France any credit for their great win…🙂
Quintessential fan there at 33 seconds in, he knows his team dint play well but he still going to next away fixture
what on earth was Arsenio Hall doing at Twickenham?
England to Ireland next week
I think England are holding a grudge against Webb Ellis for picking up and running with the ball instead of kicking it. May be kicking it away is their way of getting back at him.
England will get more from this game, than the French, this will light a fire in them, and they will be ready for payback in the worldcup, the French did us a big favour.
You have to ask…..has the RFU chosen the right Manager or have they been rushed into the decision due to the future World Cup
I still don’t understand why people don’t like kicking. If you want a good game and if you want running rugby you HAVE to have kicking rugby.
From a Springbok fan : what boring, one dimensional play from England
England will be back so let's enjoy those days
as a Frenchman, I always feel ashamed by the French fans when they travel away.ridiculous outfits and slaughtered La Marseillaise...
Love the English humility
As a French, some of the French fans were the absolute epitome of Class. That is why beer and alcoohol are not allowed in the stadiums in France.
