7. SHIT 7 THUMBS UP ? CAPTAIN JACK RUSSELL'S VOCALS ARE KILLER HE'S SANG SO GOOD OVER THE YEARS I GOT A GREAT WHITE RECORD CD I MEAN THAY DO ALL LED ZEPPLEN TRIBUTE AND JACK SOUNDS A LOT LIKE PLANT
Save your love house of broken love rock me were my favorite songs even though he made everything sound good this guy is a true rock music legend I hope I meet him some day it'll be an honor
It was the early to mid 90’s. Great White was my favorite thing. My favorite bar I went to everyday had them there for a show. I went waaay early to claim my usual spot at the bar. There’s what I thought were techs doing sound checks then came up to the bar and sat around me. They were asking me questions like do I know who Great White is and I went on to tell them all the songs that got me hooked “no puns” they laughed and we shared an awesome time. Then it was time for the show so I ditched my camp out place at the bar and wandered my way up front for my favorite band. Turns out those “techs” I was sharing stories and beers with WAS in fact my heros. I felt embarrassed but awesome at the same time. I only knew their faces from the cd and cassette art work. They had all gotten short haircuts and had been partying with them the whole time. Best rock time of my life! The bar was “The Strike Zone” in Binghamton New York. Still love all the music and crank it up often. 💜💜💜
I knew Jack from Jr High days! Go Starbucks! In fact Jack was my first boyfriend! We lived a few blocks apart. I’d go wake him up in time to shower and get ready for band practice. Remember Jack singing Once Bitten, Twice Shy back then. We lost touch in high school and I never knew Jack went on to make with his music, until I heard him singing Once Bitten on GMA after the fire! I saw him again a couple of months later when he was touring to earn money for the families of the fire! Once again we have lost contact. . . Proud of you Jack! ❤️ Karen
My first time with your band at maybe the whole incredibly proud pleasing admirable party established bars in my complete drinking areas that I always lived And luckily listen to Jack trying to get each album cover at are just as fresh much Golden musical moments I am thrilled to be at younger dreamyy week after clubs til late and I loved it Lorre never Skip show and step into metal public publicity
I saw the open for Whitesnake in Detroit back in the day. They were just in town a week ago at the token lounge. Some good friends of mine called Holeshot opened for them.
Damn Jack you sound a lot like me I was a bad boy doing stuff and I got over it brother I'm about where you're at you know what I think you got a bad rap as far as that fire goes you didn't mean for that to happen that's pretty obvious that's nowhere near your fault so glad to see you're coming back man awesome
Jack had an awesome voice and I loved what he did professionally as a singer. Probably one of my favorite and underrated bands of the 80s. However, He was not a good person and he had a lot of problems. The Fire was certainly not his fault, but robbing and shooting people as well as destroying himself with drugs and alcohol is not cool nor is it behaviour that we should applaud
@Trenner SherryThank u nd I respect ur opinion on the new singer he is alright, but in my eyes it will always b Jack as the leader voice of Greatwhite always nd 4- ever 4 me js
wow Jack man i never knew you shot a maid..and seems an angel was there for the situation ...how do you figure a shot through a door is gonna hit just the right spot at the medallion ..such a crazy story...thought i had some stories to tell ..wow i never knew ..thanks for this bit of rock history..so glad we get over this youthful twisted drug thing and realize how poison some of this shit is
It's strange that someone's voice in music and personality in life doesn't really seem to fit together with the images I have in my past listening to their music.
My sister told this guy she could sing like Mariah Carey...he said lets hear you. She cant sing and told another lie..im sure hes still laughing. She was trying to hit on the drummer and he wanted nothing to do with her. 😂😂😂
One of the best voices in rock. Ever. Period.

Great interview. All jack. Not some. interview guy talking and interrupting.
Awesome.
Hooked is the best GW album ever
South bay cities.
That song should've been a huge hit.
Great White is criminally underrated. Probably because their biggest hit is a terrible song but most other songs they did are fantastic
Om Jack Russel semoga selalu sehat selalu y om

@@vonharvell5867 Nope it was Vandenberg and Vivian Campbell. Feb 13 1988. I had to look it up.
Without Mark you have no Jack and if you have no Jack you have no Great White.
The wasted rock ranger?
❤
So bummed- Great White is playing tomorrow night and I just found out Jack isn’t singing with that band! Ain’t Great White without Jack!
Shot in the dark did have way too many keyboards 😅 talk about overkill good grief but Jack has always been the best
No one holds a flame to this band!
Is that some sort of sick joke?
Hes a class act, interviewed him and the band on my tv show a dose of landis.
I miss him.....I miss my oldest friend. Wow...
His voice was from God!

JACK I WRITE AND CAN PLAY ANYTHING YOU CAN SING AND I AM A FISHING FOOL HAHA..YOU NEED ME TO PLAY GUITAR FOR YOU.
RIP victims of Station Night club fire
great voice sad individual
I never did drugs! I can`t believe people can do that to themselves. It`s horrifying.
Them drugs. He’s now 61 and looks 81.
Jack was always just a criminal.
Excuses for excuses.
Many died because why Jack?
Jack was never pretty, but time has not been good to Jack's looks.
