before I watched the video, I played one of your games, I played run pup run I think it's called, and I love the art style and how the track is a circle so it is kind of hard to tell what row the objects are in, but the animation for when you lose... is... terrifying

Haha, jeez, this video made me think back to the first game I made (Around a year or so ago) with Unity, where I knew so little about programming at the time, it was basically a little 1v1 plane shooter game where if you got hit once you died, I actually knew so little that when you got hit, instead of deleting the player that got hit and displaying a win scenario depending on which player was hit, instead I just made it so the bullets caused the position of the thing it hit to go really far right...
Edit: And oh my god, the name "Cripple Cannon" is one of the darkest yet funniest game names I've heard in a while

I'm from Brazil, and, nowadays, I'm 19. But watching this video, I just felt a weird nostalgia feeling, but I didn't even knew why. Later I just figured out that I'VE PLAYED LARRY'S GAMES WHEN A CHILD... IN BRAZILIAN WEBSITES. YES.
I remember now, that in some boring computer classes, I used to visit some Brazilian browser game sites, and I just remembered YOUR game. Oh My God... what a small world.
And now, I'm 19, studying to be an artist, searching for references of successful people that work with art, find your youtube channel and WOW.
Actually, I have in my mind that everything you have done in your life, somehow will become a reference for you in the future... so I think you are a big of a reference to me, even when I was just a kid in school.

Man, I remember my first game. It was soooo bad but kinda fun and I still love it today, as bad as it is I'm still proud of myself.
puubutt it was a top down labyrinth called "somewhere in a labyrinth". I know, makes no sense at all because it was top down and you could see the whole level. You had to collect apples, carrots and all the good food and avoid hotdogs (they didn't move and you couldn't shoot them), pizzas (also didn't move but you could shoot them) and hamburgers (they moved and you had to either avoid or kill them)
It had a save/load feature and a "boss battle" where you had to kill a specific hamburger to pass the level but it didn't tell you which one. There were 2 or 3 levels like that. It also had a score system, so that was neat. And a local leaderboard. And 4-way shooting. And a storyline. Around the 5th level you turn into a ghost and have to become a human again. And free music I downloaded online. Colisions were mostly fine lol, but if you held right and bumped into a wall while still holding right you would start going left, and there was a way to go super fast but it was hard to do and I didn't know how to fix these bugs lmfao, but I am proud of this game because it's my first one and I was around 11 years old when I made it. I actually went to a school competition with it lol, I was 5th (out of 14) in my county and ranked 13th in the whole country (yes 5th in my county and 13th in the whole country, the county I live in has the most and best competitors). Better than all my friends and we were the youngest there. I am proud of my work.
Nikola Janevski i used to hate collisions, still do. It was the second "project" I was working on that I figured out physics and gravity and all that stuff, and that was after a loooooot of failed attempts. Sadly, I never finished "The Sky Platform" because I found more joy in other things.

I've been working on a new project for a while now and it includes a website written in HTML and CSS and a game. I made a couple of those before but this one I've been working on with my friends (who did most of the work for it)
Its a website for our "studio" and we're gonna go to another school competition with it. The category is software development so we're hoping for some extra points because it includes a website and a game. produkcija23.bitballoon.com is the link and you can download our old and bad game we went to the competition last year but we didnt have a lot of time so its really bad, we were third tho. It was probably around the same time Jazza made that first game and it was just a really simple drawing-cut-drawing for the Mitch Hedberg joke about drawing messed up turkeys if you had fingers missing.
