Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! In this video, I will be sharing the sewing process of my dream quilted jacket. I have wanted to jump on the quilting trend for quite some time now and cut this project out several months ago - It felt amazing to finally finish it! I share some quilting sewing tips, and essential tools and take you guys with me as I sew it together. I hope you enjoy it!

I love seeing people buying from Raspberry Bazaar. It's a super tiny little shop in a seaside town in Newcastle and was my favourite place to go as a little kid. It's jam packed with treasures and I always loved how full of wonders it was.
Will always remember buying butterfly hair clips from there as kid and the wings wobbled and I thought it was the coolest thing ever 🤣

You can get a quilting bar which you may have in your kit. It fits in your machine and you don’t have to mark lines. It’s usually provided with a walking foot. Check it out

I use blue painter’s tape, the kind that adheres but doesn’t stick hard to create my lines. It comes in varying widths from 1” to wider widths. I run my walking foot along the tape edge on one side then the other. The tape is repositionable several times before it no longer adheres sufficiently.
Hi, did you size up your jacket to allow for extra bulk with wadding etc? I was thinking of 2 sizes bigger.
