Roundabouts are probably a really good place to wildcamp if you don't want to get caught. Hardly anyone is going to walk by and there's so much noise to cover up anything you do.

I’d feel quite safe on a roundabout in the trees like that. If anyone saw you they’d think you’re homeless and leave you alone. The police aren’t going to care. If you stay on a big roundabout, it’ll be difficult to stop so no idiots are going to park and walk back 400 m to give you grief. I want to do some bivi bike touring and a roundabout is the perfect place! Looking forward to watching more 👍

If you like the Klymit Static V sleeping pads, they make an awesome one for hammocks...the insulated "Hammock V". Stays in place, and has "wings" for your elbows and knees. A little salty in price, but I love mine in colder nights in the hammock. Great video!

Me and my mates camped on a rugby field before in my teen years lol i been doing alot of research for a while now on bushcraft and bought some stuff this winter ready to do this now spring summer and autumn cannot wait !!!!!!!!!
In early 1996 me and a loada mates crashed out in a 4 man tent on Wandsworth roundabout. Had the 24 hour McDonald's slap bang across the road, plus a 24 hour mobil garage. The part we stayed on is the section that's on the left hand side of the roundabout, if you were looking at it from the small play area that's at the bottom of bramford Road. The opening scene to a clockwork orange, the part where the tramp gets weighed in, that was filmed in the tunnel that leads to the section we pitched in.
Loved camping in weird places as a kid unfortunately can’t anymore as I suffer from anxiety but love watching you do it mate keep up the good work 💪🏼 🏕

I prep all meals prior to leaving the house. Keep them in heavy-duty Ziploc plastic bags from Costco. No excess food nor excess weight. Easy prep.
It's something to do thou.
Regarding your mat slipping. When using a mat in a hammock, you need less air in it than you would on the ground, so let out a little air, this can also help prevent slipping. It the mat fits, try putting it inside your sleeping bag. Another method I have used is to put your spare clothes under the mat. Finally, I noticed when you initially set it up, you laid across it but then on waking were diagonal, so I'm not sure how you slept but do try to sleep diagonal, you will get a more comfortable sleep and this will also help reduce slipping.
Don't worry about how tidy your tarp is. it's there to protect you from the rain and wind. as long as you have a good tie-up, and you're covered without it flapping, then it's fine.
A good camper shouldn't just another, we are a family, offering our advice from our experiences, that's all.

Cheers mate it's was a bit loose and baggy. I slept alright but probably wouldn't want to sleep in it multiple nights like that. I've just been reluctant to put the mat in the sleeping bag less room for me and pretty tight as it is. Thanks for watching mate.

I will say I have watched almost all of your videos. Some more than once. Have you ever though of putting your sleep mat inside your sleeping back when hammock camping that way it won't move around or slip out from under you.

I really admire you. Walking around some of our cities, often the only 'wild' places left are where traffic and footfall has left a void, and that's on roundabouts. The buzz of traffic in the background as you set up camp, eat, and sleep is so familiar to me. I've often fancied it myself but never really had the balls to do it. Take care of yourself.

Think about doing motorway verges that look down on roundabouts the are under motorways. I have done a few when hitchhiking when young. I am old now. I use to get stuck, no offers of lifts. I use to dose down hidden and got a good nights sleep.

It's funny because January in 🇦🇺 (NSW) the sun goes down around 8-9pm and in June/July the sun goes down around 4.30pm... We're opposites kind of lol

Smart water bottles are great for stealth camping, they dont make any noise when you crunch them.
Have you thought of using a fresbee as a chopping board ? You can even turn it over and use it as a plate, plus it doesn't look like camping gear.
Yeah but the rest of my stuff will still look like camping gear and I look like a weirdo with a frisbee 😂 but good idea for the support plate

Another great camp roundabout number 2 nice one the trees and bushes are that dense that your pretty secluded one would hope. At least you shouldn't get anybody walking by. I love croissants as part of a breakfast. I usually spread softened real butter on all of them then put marmalade on half as well.

Love the video mate. And just a thought maybe you should do alot more stealth camp entitled videos and I can see the youre channel exploding to be honest. And it would be great if you can maybe tell us more about the gear you are using for example the bivvy you spent the night in and why it was uncomfortable etc etc. And I just bought the non stick pan you where using looks mint!
