  • I wanted to share more about the process of how I make my leather bracelets--including the copper stud that I also make in house. I hope you enjoy watching my video.

For anyone worried about the copper leaving green marks on your wrist just coat the bottom of the copper with some clear nail polish. You'll have to reapply here and there but it helps a lot! I got one in black and it was too big. I let Derek know my issue and he worked with me to get the correct size and sent one out to me along with a return label to send the bigger one back. It was nice and easy. Anyway I was so happy with my purchase I ordered one in natural as well and wear them both together. I oiled/conditioned them up and been wearing them every day! Great bracelets and very well made! Best ones I've come across so far. Thanks for your hard work Derek! And I can't wait for my strayer wallet with the extra pocket on back to arrive. I already known it's going to be awesome. Keep up the great work my man! 😎👊

Awesome - I’m glad you are enjoying the bracelets. I guess there is a short period of time that it may leave some marks on your skin. The bracelet I’ve been wearing for about a year now doesn’t seem to do that anymore. Thanks for sharing that tip, and thanks for all your compliments! I appreciate your support.

Love how excited you are to have designed something practical and beautiful. I work in a very analytical job but get a similar feeling when I take an amazing photo or design something cool (my latest is a face mask that fits in a mini pocket on a key ring - so cool!). I definitely don’t get the same buzz from my day job :)…keep up the good work - it’s beautiful :)

Thanks for the encouragement Lisa! I appreciate that. And, your face mask pocket sounds cool too.

I don’t have any specific plans to make a video like that, but I’ll definitely keep that in mind. There are lots of great leather working resources online. I especially like reading on leatherworker.net

The way I make these, the hardware is permanently set onto my bracelets. I don’t have a way to make them that would allow someone else to use them. Glad you like them though!

I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m mostly on Instagram and TikTok. I don’t really use Facebook or WhatsApp.
