It's been 31 years since I last saw this ad! Anyone got the commercials for Shout! Pantyhose or the Exacto Windcheaters one with the Russian ballet dancers?
I vaguely remember the Frist commercial but think it came in lemon flavour too ( I might be wrong). I remember the jingle began like this --- Frist lemon sour, pure lemon power (and I remember the melody). By the way Uncle Sam Shampoo is the best Shampoo I have ever used in my life. If someone has the formula for it and releases the product again, they will make a fortune.
Lol! I'm not surprised they flop? Whats with the juxtaposing of Uncle Sam with classic Autralian images? (like..umm..that guy who was gold-panning...is that how you say it?) If they wanted a product which drummed up feelings of national pride, maybe they should have had Gough Whitlam be the face of a deodorent and shampoo line..lol.

i remember this the Uncle Sam guy came from France and they dubbed his voice , there was alao Uncle Sam toothpaste as well
