There is nothing more indicative of the Nuggets than not being ahead between 2 mins gone in the first quarter and the buzzer going at the end of the game and still finding a way to win. Unshakeable belief in their own greatness.

Haven't seen this anywhere else but all nuggets players excluding Jokic and Porter were a combined 0-20 from three-point range. Porter was 6-10 and Jokic was 2-4.
Nuggets play at such a faster, more intuitive pace than any other team in the league, even when they're in the mud like last night. Insane

Nuggets 4-10 averaging 39 PPG vs Lakers 4-9 only averaging 25 PPG is the difference in the series. It’s hard for any team ever to win when you have 2 starters + entire bench score only 24.5 PPG. Even if your top3 guys a very good
75-80 points that’s only 99.5 to 104 PPG which isn’t enough to win in todays NBA.
Lakers b2b games lost by not being up way more at half (taking advantage of Murray KCP super inefficient first halves) bc in Game 1 outside of Bron 3/3 3s 1st half the rest of Lakers are 1/11 and Rui missed🐰. If Lakers are a still bad 3/11 to good 6/11 from 3 vs 1/11 and Rui makes the🐰Lakers instead of up 3 at half they’re up 11/14/17/20.
Game 2 at half they’re up 15 at half (I clowned Nick Wright for gloating when it should/could of been way more and that’s nothing in modern NBA Vs a better team especially on road in altitude vs great offense like Nuggets) and while AD D-Lo LeBron played when Rui AR and entire bench in SIXTY MINUTES scored only 7! If they score a still bad 15 vs 7 they’re up 23 vs 15.
For the game Reaves Rui and entire bench in 121 mins score only 18pts on 29/25/50 splits. That’s ballgame.
This also comes down to Nuggets greatly built last decade while Lakers FO have literally given away or passed on the following or right now they have

As amazing as AD was the first 29 mins of the game, BUT the last 19 mins he was low key horrible with 0 points on 0-4, 3 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 blocks, 0 steals, 3 TO (and part of that scoring wise at least is def on Ham/coaches/AD/Bron/D-Lo to not adjust to AG on him who is an underrated great versatile defender) while Jokic final 19 mins had 13, 7, 5, 0, 0 only 1 TO!
The Philly fans need to stop complaining about the refs, and instead complain about Nurse not calling a time out while the ball was out of bounds looking for an inbound. You can say he tried to call one, but on the video it's very clear he doesn't until the ball is already in and could be considered loose. If anyone made a timeout call that was ignored, it was Batum. Regardless, the ball should've never been inbounded and that's what you need to be mad about. The only situation where the Knicks win that game is if they steal that inbound, Nurse was too conservative.

I think it's worth pointing out that the Nuggets haven't actually been playing very well so far. They'll need to improve quite a bit to contend for the title.
No one on the Nuggets had any steals in last nights game that I think contribute to the Laker’s 20 point lead.

I have only 1 question. we were doing well in first half when AD kept getting the rock. But how come we did not draw the same plays for AD to continue be effective with scoring? we instead went away from AD for everyone else to shot bricks, eg Hachimura, dinwiddle etc? Is that a conspiracy from our coaching staff to let the Nuggets come back?

Utah is a prime example of taking time to build a team and core of players who have played together for years and built skill and cohesiveness. Lakers have none of that, they are a team that is completely different each year with no identity.

@@mariopippin3008 I could be wrong now, but I definitely remember watching an NBA ref talking about how on layup attempts contact to the upper is body is allowed as long as it takes place after the shot is released, as opposed to a jump shot where no contact is allowed until the shooter returns the floor.
I could be miss-remembering or the rule could’ve changed, but that’s what I was going off of.
