yes, more SW CCG! Decipher run was during such a golden age, their production approach adds layers to collecting and playing the game. Their promotional material still holds up as some of the best, the full A4 posters and landscape fold outs in particular.
I would LOVE to see more Star Wars and Star Trek both! My brothers and Uncle and I all played these games. One of my brothers also played Young Jedi with me, which was a far simpler, quicker, but still fun game!
Dude 2015 ish my buddy and I bought 3 boxes of the reflections for 100 bucks each as well. We got so many good pulls, no foil Darth Vader though! I really miss those days lol. Thanks for opening these, it’s fun to get to see these!
Still have a foil Darth Vader that was pack fresh - I should send it in to get graded, may actually be a 10. Bought it for $100 I think back in the 90s. Also have a foil Yoda that I came across at some point.
SW CCG was a great game, quite different from MTG and other games of the time. I still have my cards from back then. I got cases direct from Decipher and split them with a friend. Somehow, I quit before getting Reflections though. Not sure how that happened. Also got into Star Trek TNG CCG. Pulling bridge crew from packs was always the best.
Back in 2014, I bought 5 sealed boxes of reflections 1 and one box of reflections 3 for $800 from an independent card store in the Midwest. I opened all the Reflections 1 and don’t get a single UR Luke or Vader.
I used to have loads of these but got rid of them, was always into Star Trek CCG more, still have a load of complete sets of that including Reflections... I do have an uncut reflections sheet of Star Wars though
I remember desperately wanting to love the StarWars CCG... but I remember it being a terribly complicated game. I think the complexity is what ultimately killed it.
