Odd Fellows Rest is a really awesome song, and a really interesting cemetary in NOLA. Not in use anymore, it's an old Masonic cemetary at the foot of Canal St. The place is in such disrepair you can literally see bones and skull fragments inside the busted tombs. Song definitely fits the place.
One of my favorite Crowbar songs. Reminiscent of some slower Black Sabbath jams. Trippy and melodic.
Sabbath is a huge inspiration to them

I think (and this a compliment to crowbar) that this song on it's own works perfectly but in the album "odd fellow's rest" it is epic -the song title is "on frozen ground " sabbath and nola forever!

@SpaceOddity101 It is because back in the days, the government did not help in the burial of its citizens, did not offer health care, etc. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a fraternal organization founded in England sometime in the 1700 was brought to America in 1819, then built cemeteries, orphanages and home for the elderly around America. You can actually see a lot of cemeteries in America named Odd Fellows or IOOF.
