RIP David Bowie. This is a lovely tribute. Thank you for honoring his memory.
i have to say, over the decades, Nine Inch Nails has been one of those bands that have helped me through a lot of shit in my life. Thank you, Trent. I hope you know your music helps a lot of people.
Some people say his music makes people feel more sadness than they ordinarilly would (Ignorance). What those people dont understand is that trent gives us a voice to our thoughts that help us understand our sadness, and in the understanding, gives us a way to not feel alone in our most desolet moments when we feel total seperation from everyone, and everyting. By doin so his music has kept me strong enough to pull myself up at my most lost times. Thanks trent reznor and nin for the decades of strenth you gave to me.
Couldn't agree more. Today, on The Downward Spiral's 25th birthday, I found a copy of AATCHB with Still in a record store and I'd been hunting down a copy for almost ten years. It was like finding an old friend and reminiscing old memories whilst preparing to make new ones. Easy to say my life would not be as it is now without Trent.
...your absolutely correct, Trent doesn't make us feel lonely, he gives our depression/loneliness a voice...
I don't think it has anything to do with sadness. As this art is done out of passion which is always positive. It's sending a clear message that we are controlled. It's helping us awaken and teaching us valuable lessons.
trent gives you something you had but didnt realize until you heard the call...this he or she gives me this or that is largely the problem...you had that shit inside of you all this time. nothing has changed.
I think the adjective you're looking for is melancholy, or the happiness of being immersed in sadness. It's also a musical form born out of classical music. A genre that believe Trent Reznor took and made his own, a true genius.
reznors music always helps me feel like I belong even when I am at my worst point emotionally.
Edit: When people are low, go out of your way to help. you dont know what kind of a difference you can make until it happens.
Marcus Munitions same here man
Marcus Munitions I find that all his work, is The Perfect Drug my friends ☺
Marcus Campbell definitely!
Marcus Munitions I join you guys emotion sadness trip
I find this song to be hauntingly beautiful.
This song is rough and raw and sensual. We aren’t deserving of such art!!
Ani Rose speak for yourself! I've been listening since 1974, so I deserve good music akin to all the past trailblazers!
Ani Rose You're right, we don't. No wait... that last part... yea, we do.
Agree, cruelty underrated:(
Amen, but we NEED it
He is the hero we need right now
But not the hero we deserve
This whole song takes place in one second after hearing you lost someone forever
Or after hearing how fast major climate feedbacks loops are kicking in. both work just as well
Well said..
Truth, and painfully so.
I love this.
Makes sense because if you listen to the lyrics and consider when this came out it's possible he wrote this for Bowie...
The line "I thought we had more time" cuts through me like a laser after losing so much in the last few years.
Lost loved ones are scars to the soul.
Same.
Power through.
It sucks. Sorry dude.
@@robertcutchin9376 I know what you mean, these songs are more soundscape oriented. You need to come into them with an ear for audible emotional symbolism. There are no words to express the music, the sound does that for you, if you have the ear for it. Also patience if youre immature.
Dear Trent,
Thank you for existing.
Love,
Everyone
Trent slow songs are always the highlight in my opinion
darkleaves I agree, always a great vibe and feel.
All of them go so great together in a Spotify playlist. Really puts you in a different world filled with sunsets and engine grease.
anyone else think that this is to trents newer music what "and all that could have been" is to his older stuff

Nine inch Fucking Nails. Trent is one of the few left making art, actually getting inside himself...and I love what's inside him....makes me feel not so alone.
This song is absolutely chilling. I almost cannot believe how much is conveyed emotionially with how little is actually going on. I'm in tears
roboartist88 minimal doesn’t mean bad, just as complex doesn’t necessarily mean good.
@@gigachad192 True
Some of the best songs\grooves have 1 or 2 chords,it's what's going on between the spaces that make it interesting.
I never understood this video or the album cover before, but now I do. Those meters that are lit up are measuring his emotions, and the negative ones (like anxiety) have a high rating while the more positive ones (like appreciation and presence) are low. This machine is a mechanical way of personifying how it feels for him when he's depressed. Damn. I really need to give this EP another listen, I think its one that grows deeper and deeper with every listen.
Yup
It's a measure of society in general from the perception of the ones controlling the population. The song "Less Than" eludes to mass manipulation of society and the lies they're being caught in repeatedly.
I absolutely understand it. its basically a chart of my mind and emotions recently including right now.
Yes I like the interpretation in the OP but this is how I always took it. It is the control board of those manipulating society. “Amplifying chaos” and “Adding Violence”. As you can see, the “simulation is ON”
It's the Year Zero simulator.
EVERY NIN DAY IS A GOOD DAY.

quite frankly, there is no love here and there is no pain
Domagoj Hrestak You know what? I think I can see the future

And we are in this together now.
Just amazing.
Trent's a genius.
Really reminds me of the the darker trip hop sounds from the likes of
Massive Attack,Tricky, Portishead, Unkle, Allflaws
If I’m not mistaken, UNKLE supported NIN on part of the With Teeth tour in the US….gutted we didn’t get them as support here in the UK….even though he’s from over here 🤦🏻♂️😂 I’d have watched UNKLE over Ladytron any day!!!
I know and love Massive Attack, but am ignorant of those other artists. I have to get caught up!
Trent is so ahead of his time. Musical genius.
Thank you!

NIN - the soundtrack of my life since the early nineties.
Halos 1 and 2 were in the 80's!
Nigel Douglas
Nigel Douglas
Yeah they were, but I was just listening to guns and roses then.
Same.
This feels like walking a thin line between a dream and a nightmare.........
Xavier Gutierrez so true!!!!
It kinda brings up feelings I've felt on an acid trip. A mix of something being so beautiful, but so deep and overwhelming at the same time
SPOT ON!!
That's so beautiful 😍
Matt Thompson
are you sure you're not describing life?
It’s been over 2 years since the release of this EP and I keep coming back to it, over and over again. A fucking masterpiece.
Oh how we meet again Nine Inch Nails. Just came out of a 7 year relationship. The only music that keeps me sane no matter what i go through.
What a beautiful thing to wake up to first thing in the morning.
This is the saddest form of beauty put into audio, and I love every bit of it. Thank you, NIN, for creating another masterpiece.
It sounds like a goodbye to his friend, David Bowie.
RIP, Starman. Today, you would have turned 73.
David Bowie is part of the reason Trent is no longer on drugs
Edit: Was Trent addicted to Cocaine or Heroine.... Working out some kinks...
S.K.S Barbie Yup, I am very well aware of that. ❤️ I have been listening to Trent’s music and reading about him since 1989. And I have been listening to David since I was a baby. David most likely saved his life, because Trent was literally in a life-threatening downward spiral. I am always grateful to David for helping Trent save himself. We already have lost too many great artists, as it is..
@dead project That's why I said what I said but didn't mean to offend Lisa.
@@lisalisa13green didn't mean to offend... Saw Trent and Met him in the 90s... I figured you probably knew.
S.K.S Barbie You didn’t offend me at all, hence why I put the heart. I didn’t want you to read it that way. Sometimes conversation via writing, without a tone of voice and body language, can muddle things up. You definitely didn’t offend me. 😊
I lost my dear friend to the brutality of knife crime around the time this track was released. I never saw him as much as I would have liked, I thought we had more time... RIP 😥
I’m so sorry.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss.

LYRICS:
And if you see, my friend
I thought I would again
A single thin, straight line
I thought we had more time
I thought we had more time
Carry me
Carry me home
Awesome! However, I think it might actually be "A single THIN, straight line"
thx dude! There are some more words at the end that I cannot for the life of me make sense of. If anyone wants to contribute...
Javier de Pascual I hear ' I thought we had more care' once or twice
It turns out the official MP3 has lyrics embedded in the metadata! Here are the confirmed lyrics:
and if you see my friend
i thought i would again
a single thin straight line
i thought we had more time
carry me
carry me home
rageneox oh wow. Crazy that 2 lines can change it completely.
Trent can draw emotion with a song like no other.
Like Portus Head
KiloCharlieOne - I’ve haven’t seen his drawings before. I️DK if I️ was just dreaming, or wondering how much the Raw Cacao was going for last week...?

I️ Trust in the Beings Human, I️ Trust that They CaNNoT Be Trusted... actually, I️ have noticed that 0ne out of 999 can be Trusted as a True Friend.
DNA GLITCH GAMING Ghosts was a masterpiece. He said so much without uttering one word
or good inspiration listen to David Bowie - Crystal Japan
thats his work I appreciate most
It has a very The Fragile vibe, and it's also specifically about loss like The Fragile was about the loss of his grandmother. It makes the tribute to Bowie even more heartfelt, since to make it sound like The Fragile means he most likely considered him family.
Still get chills and choked up, such a masterpiece.
always a good day when a new nin track is dropped unexpectedly!
This song is playing while there's a storm going on outside of my house. With the rain beating against my house and thunder shaking the skies. And this song just fits so perfectly to it.
Add Violence is NIN's best piece since With Teeth. Don't get me wrong, I love "Year Zero", "The Slip", "Ghosts" and "Hesitation Marks" but this really hits home. Amazing work, Trent and Atticus.
Imo year zero is better than with teeth, by miles
@@interfectus99 I think both are really good, but I have to agree with you
I fell off after Year Zero. There's a couple songs I loved from Hesitation Marks, but Year Zero completely and utterly destroys With Teeth, without room for argument. End of story.
This song? This to me sounds almost like a throwback to The Fragile. I want to hear more like this, or more like what Trent did with TOBACCO.
With teeth was the worst of nin tbh
There are no bad nin records period! Just different ones every single one is its own mood and its own thing
My best friend, my brother died two days ago. Cancer had been eating him alive for four years. I'm so sad. I'm so glad he's finally able to rest. Love you man.
WOW. The greatest musical genius in the world continues to amaze in his early 50s.
A person ages. Creativity never ages.
Well, so far so good.
Age is irrelevant you really shouldn't have said that.
I mean bowie was like a million years old and he was still great at least to his fans, i never got into him.
But i really think this song is actually about bowie tbo.
@@terry85mar watch Bowie's last track. The first time I listen to it I thought nothing of it but then I started kind of really listening to it and it's dark and deep and amazing.
his voice combined with the instruments puts me somewhere else..
It always does. Especially when your driving at night or on a rainy day
Willens Marquise wtf are you commenting on b.s for on this amazing song you guys are lame for even posting that dumb shit...
i am listening this band since i was 15.now,i am almost 40 and it is still like the first time, realy very impresive
Ditto 😍
High 5 fellow female NIN fan
Same I was 15 when I first fell in love with NIN I am now 42 turning 43 next month (dec 25) and it's still my favorite band!!!
I don't wanna live in a world without Trent Reznor either.
#20 on trending? the world has finally come to its senses.
Jessica Strickland lol no kidding.
Badulaques I sincerely hope you are trolling...
it's like NIN by way of Massive Attack, I love it!
Andrew Johnston yes! Sounds like massive attack! Love that style, we need more of that
Yeah that’s why I don’t like it. Much prefer the angry, harsh industrial ballads like the downward spiral or the fragile. But to each his own.
The electronic blips and piano make me think of like Blade Runner, rain soaked city brimming with bright neon.
I still feel Background World should of been one of the main sounds to the newest Blade Runner along with this one
Don't forget the Subliminal Symbolic PROGRAMMING and Mind Control everywhere and all the Empty Vessels running around. ... ha

@@IRieAsAVirus37..
Raddest
This is… mesmerising. Truly deep, both the instruments and voice. Just woah.
So So So good.
I needed this album so badly. New NIN always gives me another way to see the world.
man i sure do love The Nine Inch Nails
I know what you mean, his music just speaks to you on a primal level. He takes something as simple as a an ancient vacuum tube era machine and makes it apply to our lives today.
Ditto. He does most of the music for David Fincher ( Seven, 12 Monkeys, Gone Girl ( i think ) he's my fave director. I cannot for the life of me think of all the other movies he has done, there are many ....Lost Highway! You can see why the two collaborate... a darkness, the ability to effortlessly draw upon every emotion irrespective of it's intensity like a kaleidoscope... he is exceptional
the only musician I know of that you can feel his soul bleed through his work.
well said :)
Exactly. Certain types of enthusiasm are like a pill which very effectively lowers common sense, logic, and awareness. It makes people use terms like "only" in their adoration. Or "the greatest", or "no one else can...", ect. It applies to music, politics, art, writing, patriotism, pretty much anything. But "feel his soul bleed"? LOL. Cmon, talk about cornball. Is she 13?
You don't know alot of musicians then do you.
Marcy obviously hasn't been listening to NiN, or Trent for very long.
Ms. Psycho You must not know a lot of artists
Trent please add more dates to your concert tour. Four dates is just not enough. I cannot wait to see what you have in store for this LIVE!
Wow I've not heard this kinda brilliance off nin since fragile
I agree!! I was thinking the other day that less than is also the best single in 18 years!
Loved the track but since Fragile we had stuff like Right where it belongs, Capital G, All Time Low....
Rodrigo Quinan In my opinion, Right Where It Belongs sounds like it could be a Linkin Park track. Beside You In Time is far better.
this song reminds me of "Even Deeper".
fran jaff I respect your opinion but for me Right where it belongs is one of my very fav NIN tracks while I consider Beside you in time a bit of a filler (and they played in the show I went... the intro was the Social Network soundtrack song)
I know THIS ISN'T THE PLACE but Trent man... Don't you go dying on me anytime soon. I need more of this.
Damn, you went ahead and put that out there. Fool.
Have you seen Trent? He's looking as jacked and clean as ever, easily got another 30 years left.
no worries, friends,he's been singing his profound pain 4 more than 20 years,he's one tough, haunting son of a bitch......a persons spirit is usually scared of "the other realm" this guy has embraced what he knows,I think he still has lots of secrets to tell..And he's still hot as hades 4 at least another 15 years.we luv trent,so send good energies
Joe Mcdonald NIN is its own type of music. It Can't be replicated. The day that Trent dies is the day that the genre dies with him
So badass in concert
Visually, It has That retro feel of that old industrial machine inside an experimental lab which I keep getting drawn to, I even spent time contemplating every switch which is correctly named and so delicately placed, not forgetting the box of medicine on the table, It's so believable, visually its very inspiring..
Sound wise, the mood setup is perfect, the tempo is in sync with the themed emotion of the song, the lyrics are transparent vocally the emotions can be felt and are heart reaching, the electo music is very fine tuned not over the top, delicately designed in each dividend of the song.
To me its a job very well done on this album.
I think it's the best nin song since With Teeth. Possibly even since The Fragile.
stop using the word retro...god damn it
I'm in the process of having to move away from my kids 60 miles away and yeah this one hits me in the feels. Good assessment of the song.
More like a police training sound devices. During Sonny Crocket's and Ricardo Tub's past Rockie police training. Cool.
Thank you, Trent, for this awesome music (and all the music you have ever produced). The world needs more great artists such as yourself!
yeah, the world needs more artists with money.. if a random dude came out with this track nobody would care
Not true, if a random dude came out with this and I heard it, I'd support that dude a million percent! Of course that if still a big IF unfortunately , given the way the music industry works.
This is pure NIN sound, I guess you are clueless about them and you ended up here from some rap video or something.
XNancyxBoyX haah
I agree!
Can't wait to it for this EP. We gotta keep Trent motivated to keep creating.
Apparently there's a third ep to be released at the end of the year.
MrRyan1011 agreed! His music is so good. I was sad when he said he was done with nine inch nails
put on headphones, pour your drink of choice, and think about your disposition when you fell in love with NIN while listening to this. it's there. it's the fragile, it's trent, your experience hasn't changed you just have to recollect it.
Started listening to NIN back in 1992, was totally hooked within seconds to Trents music.
It's still an addiction I live with.
The shortest 4:51 of my life.
Exactly what I just felt..
Ditto
The world absolutely needs Trent Reznor! I honestly can't imagine a world without his music. It's so good, and so inspiring I can't even describe the feels.
Teljesen igazad van.
This dropped during a tough period in my life and the catharsis this EP gave me was absolutely necessary.
Thanks for the music, man.
This walks a razor thin line between a dream and a nightmare
I can feel it feeling me
I honestly still can't figure out how can someone hate Nine Inch Nails or Trent Reznor
Don't try to figure that out, trust me on that one! It's hard enough to come together like we are in this chat ya know? People out there are denying facts! I'll post on Facebook, and instead of a disagreement, a person I've never met, will just come out attacking me! Saying the most horrible things! Because bullies have to beat people down in order to feel good about themselves. I myself, have vowed to give almost every human being, a certain level of respect, right off the bat, and I will not call people names, or make fun of anyone. I believe that every time you do, you lose a piece of yourself. That's one of our biggest problems, too much standing around, watching the bullies laugh and demoralize people they don't understand, and not enough helping one another without expecting something in return... So I have some quotes I keep in my clipboard. Claim them as your own, cite me, or wipe your ass with them, lol. I'm not trying to get anything out of sharing my knowledge, just hoping at least one thing I've typed teaches anybody something. If it does teach ONE person, something small, then I've made a difference! And that one act, could ultimately influence billions even trillions of lives over time! Okay, sorry, lol, I tend to go on a tangent often. Here's the quotes:
"The first step toward intelligence, is admitting your own stupidity." (Unknown)
"The basic meaning of life, is to gain as much knowledge as you can, and pass it on." (Socrates)
"We will never progress as a nation, nor will we evolve as human beings, until we all realize, that bettering each other, is just as important, if not more, than just bettering ourselves, just as we will never be stronger than our weakest link..." (Larry Monjure)
it takes an open mind....
sorry for the time it took me to reply, it has been kind of a busy week, anyway what you said is true, except that we have top face the fact that most people are mostly influenced by the masses, that's why that form of conformity in the way most of them think or look is growing obvious, what you have defined as bullying i categorize as dogma, a fear and non acceptance of the different variations, even though i believe that, in a certain population, no matter from which point you are trying to study it, its always the variants that are the most interesting, no matter if they are wrong or they are right, it would always be much more intresting to understand the WHY's behind their differences, a thing that common people nowadays do not concider
couldn't said it better
I can understand why more don't appreciate it. A former co-worker called it "angry music" when she heard me playing it at work one day. Some people want escapism from their music.
From a Fangoria interview, Trent Reznor talks about how he and the band came to perform in the roadhouse scene from that episode (as The Nine Inch Nails):
"Yeah, when we got the call about Twin Peaks, the question was just, "Would you like to participate in Twin Peaks: The Return?" and the answer was, "Yes, of course!" and then he said, "I would like the band to be playing a show at the Roadhouse." No further information.
We didn't have a lot of time; it was maybe two, three weeks until [filming]. We were working on a piece that - and I haven't told anyone this - ultimately became the music for "This Isn't The Place," incorrectly thinking that he'd want something that was more … y'know, I was picturing Julee Cruise, something that was a bit more broken down or open and David Lynch-ish.
But when we turned the track in, he was comfortable enough with me to write or call me back and say, "Y'know, I'm looking for something a little less … this just isn't what I want. I want something that feels menacing and unpleasant." I think probably most of the people that were called [about performing in the Roadhouse] had the same thought we did, to go a little more Badalamenti-ish, something you'd expect to be playing in there.
So in about another day, we quickly turned around "She's Gone Away" and immediately got the response of, "Thank you, yes, this is exactly what I was looking for! Appreciate the extra effort!"
Never into this music when I was in High School. Just hearing someone talk about the band "Nine Inch Nails" I automatically assumed it was weird gothic music. Now I cant get enough. Trent's music is the coolest sound i've ever heard. NIN is in a category of its own.
Sweet fruits dropping from the NIN tree
NIN is not playin with yall muthafuckas at all. This shit is fuckin amazing. Welcome back Uncle Trent.
Lost my best friend suddenly to a drug overdose and this song resonates vividly.
I'm sorry to hear that dude. My condolences. May your friend RIP.
Nine Inch Nails is by far my most respected band/Artist. I really enjoy Trent Reznor. He is a modern day Beethoven.
Just thankfully not deaf. 🤘🤣
It'll be interesting listening to the whole album to see how these songs fit together. They end pretty abruptly. The machine in the video also has very interesting labels. Year Zero language...

hitlar rajbhandari gosh how that line be almost more attainable then the life I may never attain.
what's he saying in the back round at the end?
"Carry me. Carry me home."
hitlar rajbhandari makes me think about so many lost along the way- some to death some to circumstances
So beautiful. The piano contours perfectly with the deep hum of the bass. The silk like flow throughout the song is tranquil and calming. I heard this while I was watching the thunderstorm outside on my porch at midnight because I couldn't fall asleep. So relaxing and comforting as I feel like I'm on cloud nine. Thanks Nin you never fail to make a beautiful masterpiece as this. 10/10. If there is any song I could listen to for the rest of my life it would surely be this one.

OMG The Nine Inch Nails!
I cannot explain why Im so drawn to this , NIN always continues to impress me. Takes me to a parallel world where everything is just beautiful and scary at the same time....
Nobody really got how connected Trent and Bowie were. I really don't care if Trent gave Johnny Cash his blessing to do hurt. Not even he could top Trent and Bowie doing it live together.
Long live Trent. And RIP David.
God, that was fucking beautiful.
one of the last great artists in the music industry left. still touches something so deep
Trent has an insane mastery of sound aesthetic. To say that this song sums up my entire mood is a vast understatement...
Listened to the perfect drug song when I was 7-8 years old ,didn't know how that would change my life 34 years later, got to love the style of NIN , from the most hardcore to the most melodic instrumentals. No other band of merry music makers can compare. Brilliant. Salute.
Anyone notice the new Cedocore drug on the table? Huge Year Zero drop! Very excited!!
Year Zero lives on 10 years later!
Also look at the EST TERMINATE EVENT counter right above it. It's stopped on 02022, or the year 2022, which is "Year Zero"
oMg YES!
Yesss
Yeah man saw it. Not sure what the drug is though. Loving these Year Zero vibes, fits exactly with the times we live in. Bring it on
Oh my vibrating soul, if you do not listen to this with a subwoofer cranked up in the mix, you are missing out. This gives me chills.
Little did you all know that this music is the rapture being played out over 30yrs. He is the best wake up call the world missed or didnt want to see.
Absolutely
That song where you want your noisy busy life to fade out, and enjoy the music that Trent has created for us.
Damn that bassly sound, drives me crazy. NIN did it again, Reznor did it again
This brings me back. The Fragile
Jordan Redman yessss. The Way Out is Through vibes. I love it
Also "Gone Girl" soundtrack vibes
Jordan Redman was totally thinking the same dude!!!
This song came out a few hours after my best friend died. Listening to this still makes me feel that day over and over. I miss him and this song helps me get through it. If you know someone going through addiction please love them forever and be there for them, one day they might be gone.
See... this is where you can see how far along Trent has come in his career. This is a song worthy of a legendary sound architect, and a fitting tribute to David Bowie. RIP
I'm not trying to be a fanboy but I absolutely fucking am one. NIN and Trent are fucking godlike in the industry of sound architecture. Change my mind.
No need to change a thing. ❤❤❤❤
Sounds like Human music, I like it!
I like it!
Huntermanx you became a nin fan from rick and morty too huh
I love Earth radio, they have the best human music.
No, he's probably way cooler and knew about nin years and years before r&m
Rick n' Morty ref, ftw.
This reminds me of the period between the downward spiral & the fragile. You could play this to me in the dark and I would know who it was in seconds. I think Trent is the last visionary force left in music. He has spanned 3 decades now while I have been a part of from the beginning.
While nowhere near being the same style, I feel like Trent and Josh Homme benefited a great deal from just being their own thing hidden behind a band that was ever changing. They both kind of do what they want in regards to music and don't get trapped in between their music and the fans. Every album they release is a departure from the last at least a bit, but you can still recognize the core of the band. They also just release music when they feel it is ready to be released and don't rush it. My point is that the very fact that Trent was able to focus on the music and not what some music executives in suits wanted allowed him to evolve his music. The only difference between the two bands is that people I talk to tend to like QotSA more than NIN due to the former being more classicly rock than the later. They are both amazing bands though.
Further Down the Spiral was a bit too much a downer for my state of mind at the time, though I can't deny its quality.
There will never be a "last" visionary force in music, even if it is hard to find. You just have to know where to look...
This comment sums up my feelings on music since the 90's basically.
The Dillinger Escape Plan & Portishead are the only contemporaries in Trent's line of work.
This and The Lovers are top-tier non-rock NIN tracks.
It pushes me backwards in time, slows me down in past - It's like a reptile waiting to attack the future in which we're in. There are just a few artists which are far ahead of the time in which they're living...Trent is one of'em.
Hes still got it after all these years... this is the best music I've heard since the 90s..
I'm like a little child every time Trent releases something new. So refreshing from all the bullshit music that's around today
He still gets hated on for being industrial but not industrial... which is the dumbest shit I've ever heard... usually bitter Skinny Puppy fans. Trent has done his own thing since he's been making music... genres aside. He still has got it, and always has, in my meaningless opinion. He puts passion in his work. Unlike 95% of the artists these days.
wrong generation
You clearly need to listen to better music and guess what? You're in the perfect place to do so, the internet! There's a ton of great new music coming out all the time.
if you want to have an idea how much, find your way into redacted.ch if you can. Other than that, just start googling.
Oliver Murphy there is still sufficient good music around, just that most of it is produced by lesser lights, as the majority of the bona fide stars are all dead!
No, that's fucking stupid. There is a bedroom hendrix and a bedroom john lennon making music right now that we will probably never hear. The quality of the good stuff never diminished, just the visibility.
This is truly one of the most amazing and heartfelt piece of music ever created... and the whole new EP "Add Violence" is just plain fucking fantastic.
Trent always delivers the goods...helps me in rough and tough times. Thank you Trent.
You've no idea how much my personality can relate to this song, it really struck a cord - no wonder NiN is one of my favorite bands! Trent Reznor is truly a unique genius!
I'm positive Trent Reznor has a direct line to my soul
Angel Kunkel he just has us sanctified
What a masterpiece.
So I know it is just a background still, but am I the only one that wants that control board for myself... like I could bypass my social anxiety?
I also. I have social anxiety

Machines.. you take down one switch for anxiety, another switch may pop right up for something you'd never want
