Dr. Robert M. Carney, my family's doctor when I was a child was in Brooklyn, Iowa. Excellent doctor who was highly regarded by my family. I must've visited his clinic 7 times between 1969 and 1971. He took my tonsils out, my adenoids out, and put in and took out tubes in my ears. Brooklyn, Iowa seemed like a huge city to me, too. I was from an itty bitty town called Deep River.
Great video Tyrell and Nikki! I'm seeing this way late on 1-1-22. I have cousins living there that unfortunately I haven't seen in too many years. I don't recall ever driving through Brooklyn yet, only passing the exits for it when going by on I-80 (shame on me!!!). It is a beautiful town for sure! Mark in southeast Iowa.
Hi, can you guys speak on internet service / internet providers, and storms/power outages in Iowa? I'm strongly considering moving there but I'm a Homebody and pc gamer. I need to know! 😅
We have fiber-optic internet service. If the power goes out, we have our own diesel generator. The longest I've been without power is about eight minutes.
