Lovely to see you back! Wishing you all the very best for Aerys's next few months. A little boy in my class at school has the implants and he has come on in leaps and bounds (he does get cross when we forget to turn off our mics and go to the staff room!) Thank you for sharing your books - I am such a bookworm and I have noted several of the ones you talked about! I resisted a kindle until some friends bought me one for my 50th and I have never looked back. I also use the borrowbox app through the library so can download ebooks and audiobooks to my phone for free! Take care xx
I’m so enjoying catching up with you! Just followed you on instagram …glad you mentioned it! I live in Washington state (not DC) in the US and work at an indie bookstore…loved the book chat! I read lots and lots of physical books, but I like falling asleep with the kindle propped next to me too 😂! Richard Osman is one of my favorites. Oh and I recently read Janice Hallet’s Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels…another really clever one from her. I need to get back to Robin Hobb! I loved the first book I read.
It is so lovely to see you back Kerrie. It truly is. Wasn't Beamish busy? It is a great day out for everyone isn't it? I figured that when you went silent it would be because of the cochlear implant dilemma wirh Aerys. I remember hearing her 'tantrums ' when Ste was trying to read her a bedtime story and it was then that i knew that you would be facing the dilemma of surgery and what it would and would not mean. You really did not have a choice though, did you? That was hard too. You had to give her the best chance of a life fulfilled, so she would not be on the outside, always looking in. Wishing her all the very best for her surgery. She could nor have a finer family to support her through a very scary time.

You are just such a lovely person! I’m sending support for you and the family. I’ll be like the tea monk and hold space for you all. I think it’s so cool you’ve been delving into hobbies. Your bookbinding looked so professional! And I was so impressed you could remember all the stories off the top of your head! I want to read more fantasy. I read House on the Cerulean Sea and absolutely loved it. I usually go with historical fiction but I think I’m going to branch out more.

I know all this is different and scary but once it's done and she has learned to process, life will be great for the little lady.i saw when she first heard in the drs rooms and that was long before I saw this channel. All the best for the coming weeks xx
