Vinayagar is very much a Tamil deity. And the wider scope in history is that Vinayagar worship comes from Motherland Mu.
So Vinayagar is an Intercontinental most ancient deity from even before Indus Valley & common to Pacific peoples & Red Indians apart from Indians.
In fact Vinayagar goes back to the first Lemuria, that is Pacific Lemuria.
