  • It's VOX AC30 & treble boost time. I bought this CATALINBREAD - Naga Viper pedal and compare it with the BSM HS and the RANGEMASTER from British Pedal Company. Some times i like the old stuff more, but in this case i was suprised of the Naga Viper. Its more versatile in adjusting because of its bass knob. But hear yourself.
    Pls like and comment this video, so we can beat the YT algo and gain more viewers. THANK YOU !
    If you want to buy some of this pedals please use my affilliate link

    Great video. Thanks! I think there's a Catalinbread Skewer pedal that models the Hornby-Skewes.

    I’ve had quite a few treble boosters, including all in this comparison. I’ve liked them all, for the most part, but the Naga Viper is my favorite. It’s relatively quiet, and offers a lot of tonal options. It’s been on my board for years, and I’ve yet to find anything I like better.
    Great demo!

    Nice demo! I have a old Keeley Java Boost w/ old transistor from Rangemaster( OC72?) It needs reverse polarity wire if used with power supply so I just use battery at home but seems like Viper may be easier to use with pedalboard/ power supply?? Great playing as usual!!

      thanks
      you could use a reverse cable with the power supply.

    Burning hot.🔥Didn't see any smoke on the water but there was definitely smoke in the studio. As to which treble booster was best, no idea, Helmut easily won the shootout. Subscribe !

    Naga Viper sounds really good with the AC30, all the definition is still there. We often used S421's on Vox amps as they are usually bright.

    Great playing, & I have to tell you that after watching pro playing guitar by a long hair dude with glasses...I'd rather listen to your massive lik & the flowing style that comes from your heart has been something i do not tire to . With three fingers on my fret hand humbling to me as a player . I continue to improve even though it doesn't seem progress. Any recommendations Bibl ???

    They sound more like fuzz mixed with a clean signal than just an eq boosting trebble, i guess they clip the signal in the higher mids to some degree?

  • @echoTVat
    @echoTVat 11 місяців тому +1

    Question: If the Naga takes away volume, ok. But to get a boost ---> is it may be ok, to put a clean booster after the Naga?? To get Volume back? For example Live....
    Or is it also the Volume KNob on the guitar, so I turn it down, for more Volume for soloing rise Volume knob....?
    Whats your opinion?
    p.s.: I have the Naga here....Its really nice how it takes away the deep "mushie" tone.
