- It's VOX AC30 & treble boost time. I bought this CATALINBREAD - Naga Viper pedal and compare it with the BSM HS and the RANGEMASTER from British Pedal Company. Some times i like the old stuff more, but in this case i was suprised of the Naga Viper. Its more versatile in adjusting because of its bass knob. But hear yourself.
Pls like and comment this video, so we can beat the YT algo and gain more viewers. THANK YOU !

really cool frasing, sound as allways perfect
thanks 🥃
Great playing, thanks for the video
🙏🏼
Great video. Thanks! I think there's a Catalinbread Skewer pedal that models the Hornby-Skewes.
ok, will have a look.
cheers
I’ve had quite a few treble boosters, including all in this comparison. I’ve liked them all, for the most part, but the Naga Viper is my favorite. It’s relatively quiet, and offers a lot of tonal options. It’s been on my board for years, and I’ve yet to find anything I like better.
Great demo!
yeah, that‘s true .
cheers
Your intro jams are always awesome! Great content as always.
thanks, love it and it‘s always first take.
cheers
Nice demo! I have a old Keeley Java Boost w/ old transistor from Rangemaster( OC72?) It needs reverse polarity wire if used with power supply so I just use battery at home but seems like Viper may be easier to use with pedalboard/ power supply?? Great playing as usual!!
thanks
you could use a reverse cable with the power supply.
cheers
Wenn der Bibl-Helmut in die Saiten greift, kommen bei mir akustische Frühlingsgefühle auf!
😀
Burning hot.🔥Didn't see any smoke on the water but there was definitely smoke in the studio. As to which treble booster was best, no idea, Helmut easily won the shootout. Subscribe !
thanks, 😎
Shit! Your openers are great man!! Keep it up!! 🤘🔥🎸🎸🎸
thanks 🥃🫵🏼
Beautiful intro sir! ❤

Great great video as usual, beautiful and tasteful playing!
Early Ritchie’s tone was indeed G12H30 loaded Vox AC30 and Hornby Skewes TB ;)
thanks
oh, vox with gh30, did not know that.
cheers
Yes yes yes!!
😄
Naga Viper sounds really good with the AC30, all the definition is still there. We often used S421's on Vox amps as they are usually bright.
yes, had a royer too, for a little more bass.
@@Biblrocks In my day it was an RCA77. The Royers are quite good.
if its in the bibl its in the bibl !
😀🥃
Great demo.

Great playing, & I have to tell you that after watching pro playing guitar by a long hair dude with glasses...I'd rather listen to your massive lik & the flowing style that comes from your heart has been something i do not tire to . With three fingers on my fret hand humbling to me as a player . I continue to improve even though it doesn't seem progress. Any recommendations Bibl ???
KEEP UP THE GREAT CONTENT!!!
thanks, no problem with 3 fingers, we are in good company:-)
cheers
oh i love this kind of type sound!
🤘🏼
They sound more like fuzz mixed with a clean signal than just an eq boosting trebble, i guess they clip the signal in the higher mids to some degree?
you could describe it this way😉
the naga viper is very good i also have one
👍🏼
Question: If the Naga takes away volume, ok. But to get a boost ---> is it may be ok, to put a clean booster after the Naga?? To get Volume back? For example Live....
Or is it also the Volume KNob on the guitar, so I turn it down, for more Volume for soloing rise Volume knob....?
Whats your opinion?
p.s.: I have the Naga here....Its really nice how it takes away the deep "mushie" tone.
the greer amp moonshot is the better treble (mid) boost !
cheers
thx@@Biblrocks
Would be nice to see the settings you have on the amp. The CatalinBread was definitely my fav., specially with the settings you had on the pedal first.
the amp is dimed on the normal channel.
cheers
Love it!
🥃
have your vox ac 30 a cabinet output maybe you shoud try your ac 30 with your greenback loaded 4x12
not a good idea, the magic happens in the alnicos. if i want the 4x12 sound with a „vox“ i use my 65 london.
cheers
the celestiom g12-65 and a vox great combination armando oberle used this combination in his studio
Wow I actually liked the music
