- Here I am showing my Husqvarna 535LS trimmer in action. I've had it for about a year and a half now using it commercially. It is heavy but you get used to it. It's got plenty of power.

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.
Very nice video, good use of that Husqvarna trimmer.
You keep putting out high quality vids and I appreciate it. I see you're running the 535. I just purchased the 525ls this week and I can't be happier with my purchase. These huskies have a very high power-to-weight ratio. My Stihl FS94R is my backup trimmer now since I got this new Husky.
+Altamahacat Cool. Yea I like Husqvarna. I'm still waiting for Brian at Top Notch to review his new Echo because I'm eyeballin' that one.
+Something 2LookAt
I looked at that same Echo 266T trimmer at the same time when I bought the 525ls. For a 25cc trimmer its as heavy as the Husky 535 with much less HP. It also has a hard to adjust carb with limiter caps that have to be pulled. The Huskies only need a splined screwdriver to make adjustments.
You can make a little more HP and have a cooler trimmer if you remove your muffler and drill some small holes in the baffle, bypassing the catalytic converter.
Altamahacat Oooo, I like that idea of opening up the exhaust more and let it breath! That will make it louder but it's already loud. I didn't realize there was a catalytic converter in there? And if you say the 266 is as heavy as the 535, it's already a no go for me. I already have a big heavy trimmer. Thanks!
The Cat bypass doesn't make it louder it just changes the tone of the muffler. When I did the muffler on the 525 it sounded more like the exhaust on my Husky 580BTS blower but not as loud. Here is a photo of the cat in my 327LDX. It should be very similar to the one in your 535. Altamahacat Oh yea, I took the screen out when I assembled it. The pictures won't load but I think I get the idea.
That reminds me of a hot knife going through a cold stick of butter. Nice! 👍🏻
I have the 535 LK with a long reach hedgecutter and pole pruner and it's a fantastic bit of kit!
Tx so much.
Awesome machine. I've never had a problem. Use only Truefuel 40:1.
Lovely trimmer mate but i think that you need to have the guard installed on the shaft as it help to deflect grass where it's not needed
Nah
@@DaddyC445 yep i suppose everyone is different etc just watch out for the weeds and debris i say with one off the shaft etc.
How is it
What kind of string are you using? Is it wire cable? If so is there a head made for it?
LOL! Well, it is officially Lo Noiz .130 spiral wrapped line. It is just shy of being cable. And actually, I remember years ago seeing some little cable length attachments that went on a special head for brush clearing. I think they even had little weights on the ends. Downright lethal if it get's ya.
Great machine 👍👍👍👍👍, never wear shorts when operating outdoor power equipment, safety vialation.
And the security equipment?
I ordered a 535LS today from a local Husqvarna dealer. It was a pain finding a dealer and getting him to order it. I don't understand why it was so difficult. Husqvarna should sell directly from their website or through Amazon or something.
I ordered mine from Amazon. Anyway, it will be worth the trouble. It's a very good machine. I eventually broke the clutch spring but it was easy to order the part and it was cheap. Not so easy to do the repair. Surprised me, it's a thick spring. But the machine is very strong and I push it to the max so I understand.

Bear legs? No shield down at the string head? WTH? How do you bump to extend the string and cut it off to length? I'm perplexed!
When you bump it, it ratchets out a specific distance then stops until you bump it again. And it's about the right length without needing to be cut by the guard mounted cutter.
Pro gears and 4 stroke dngine csn handle big forestry saws, so long thin line wont be asbad then those with the home model cutters
His legs do not look like a bear...

Is that a 4 cycle? I'm looking at the 525 to have as my main squeeze so I can use the 128 as an edger + backup.
It is 2 cycle. But seriously, you don't want a 535 to be your main trimmer. It's a handful. At 13 lbs, you'll find you'll only use it for the tough jobs. I use a 223 for most light stuff. Very light.
Something 2LookAt what is the power in (CC)s please
Something 2LookAt ok thanks man and I didn't know that lol learn something new everyday I guess
What I don't understand is how the LD128 is 28cc at $200 while the 225 is 25cc at $400. Why would it be more expensive? More metal, less plastic? Better built? Also, the 128 is rated at 1hp while the 252 is 1.3hp. I thought cc was the new rating for power, but now I'm confused about which would be more powerful.
Ryan Whitfield cc is just the displacement. Cubic centimeters. Easier to get more horsepower from more cc but not necessarily better. I have had 2 of the 128's and I blew them up fast. While my 1st 223 lasted years. Got another one and I've got 3 years on it. They just really are better. Less powerful, but more reliable.

Really liked the video but I am not in the the slow motion. I really like the live weed eating. How do you weed eat wearing shorts? That hurts all that stuff flying around hitting legs.
+lidsman2221 LOL, 25 years in the business, that's how. I remember the first couple years noticing it hurt a lot. Now I'm oblivious. Half the time I'm not even aware that it's raining either. :) I'll try to get some real time weed whacking footage up for you. I hope you saw the video in the dog pen.
Yes I did. I hope they were not keeping a dog in there. What a mess. You made it look a lot better.
lidsman2221 No no no, the owners are away. Actually they had stopped using it anyway and just kept their dogs in the house.
+lidsman2221 think that hurts ah i do lawncare and i had to do one garden that was just nettles and in the uk theres really light nettles that are easy to cut but you get coated in them and it hurts a hole lot !
Music name plz
Hola como tu está
Does it got a lot of power
Oh yea, it's strong.
Interesting trigger hand position. You must also have sore wrists.
Yea, everybody notices that. I have always held it this way though so it doesn't make me sore.
Can it be replaced with blade type cutter?
Yes! It gets real exciting when you do that. :)
Man, I wish I had this weed eater
If you try a Husqvarna 430ls you will not like other trimmer
you mast have guard in your trimmer so never work without that
Guards are for boys (lv.1, noob)
No guards and circular saw blades are for men (lv. 500.000.000, super pro)
Hola
why do you hold your trimmer like that
+Cole Everett I have no idea. I do what works for me.
Doing his best to keep from getting his legs hit while wearing shorts.
I’m sorry 😐 I really don’t like the slow motion. But you’re awesome
Well, thanks!
MPRABOY ADERFE
Only a fool would use a weed trimmer while wearing shorts!
I got a piece of baling wire stuck 2 inches into my leg and I was wearing LONG👖 pants. 🤦♂️ SMH
I KNOW WHAT HE DID WAS WRONG , BUT YOU SHOULDN'T BE SO OFFENSIVE
Me mobaellnabar
Ese pasto es débil..y es preferible escuchar el hermoso sonido del motor funcionando...no esa música de relleno.
Y he so far back
I’m not impressed. Anyone can do the same thing with a cheap Ryobi. Husqvarna sells ergonomic comfort and durability. Any line trimmer with a decent amount of power can do the work.
He's not really showing it's full potential. Maybe using 50% throttle
What kind of idiot removes the guard and wears shorts to cut weeds?
That's me. Actually that's all of us here in Florida.
Something 2LookAt we do the same here in Texas
Florida man, Florida man, does whatever a meth head can!
