Driving through Warwick Village, Warwick Park, Main St. in Warwick, NY

Long, leisurely drive on a not so sunny Summer morning, exploring Warwick Village in Warwick NY. Passing through Warwick Park, Hickory Hill Golf Course, down Main St and the adjacent side streets, along the nearby rural area, passed Saint Anthony's Community Hospital and ending at Mount Alverno Medical Center.

As a Warwickian for over 40 years, I got a kick out of watching this (although I have to admit at double speed). My kids, not so much, probably because they watch enough UA-cam videos with royalty free music. It would be great to see the fields of Pine Island, views from Mt Peter, Kings Highway going into Sugar Loaf. There is so much that Warwick has to offer. But don't tell anyone or it will get too crowded.

I might have another video or two that shows the farms and the black dirt region. I used to go there for work so I would record often, but I haven't been back there since I left the job. Maybe I'll take ride during Apple Fest (assuming they do it this year).

I lived there in the very early 1960s up until 63. You almost drove by our old house, I got excited when you turned on Orchard street but alas you did a u turn right after turning onto it and didn't drive down to the dead end. But it was still nice seeing the neighborhood from what I could remember of it, especially the downtown.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video; thank you for commenting. At the time of recording I was actually working at the hospital there and mixed up my schedule and basically arrived nearly 3 hours too early, with nothing better to do I decided to drive around and record. I had hoped to return and make another video this passed summer but it didn't work out. Hopefully I will get the chance before winter. Do you have any areas you would like to recommend that I visit and maybe record?

I was there in the seventies and eighties. So good to see a video of my old stomping grounds.
