A while ago one of my videos got mentioned in the radio show called "this American Life' and in that video i promised that i would do a second part of the show and tell jewellery video collection. So today i decided to make that video with the jewellery of my other grandma who is still alive :D My other grandma in the link down below past away in 2008. R.I.P oma

im so glad that part 1 jewelry video was mentioned somewhere i remember that video being sentimental and how much the things meant and i was just lying on my bed listening to it and smiling the whole time :) the box as soon as you began scratching it it gave me full on tingles. lets hope this gets mentioned on good morning america or something LOL! love the owl so much too! owls are one of my favorite animals. the wooden necklace looks epic! so full of tingly tingless great video Ilse

Another great video! But the thing I love the most about you and your work, Ilse, is the fact that with every movie you wake a feeling in me that one doesn't have to live the way everyone lives, chase the things everyone chases, follow any trends or bend oneself to the people around. You seem like a strong person, standing still next to this crazy flow most people is being dragged by. I hope you know what I mean - and I mean another compliment for you :)

I'm new to ASMR videos here I came by because I enjoy watching collections of all kinds. I feel like I'm experiencing eargasm is that even normal? like I almost feel like someone tangles inside my ears if that makes any sense

I work at a retail store and whenever I have to show people jewellery, I always get so sleepy watching their hands and how they play with the jewellery and I couldn't figure out why until a couple days ago. I realized it's because of all these ASMR videos I watch; my brain thinks it's a video and starts shutting off haha.

That box is a work of art I really love it! I'm into seashells & nautical things,well I am an old pirate,I mean sailor. ;) Your Grand mom is special,both of them I like the cool jewelry & it's the most beautiful thing to see you holding them. Dear llse, can you make a video of you tapping/scratching a bristle hairbrush or brushing your hair? Those sounds always give me tingles. When I was little my mom would brush my hair, and play with the brush to help me fall asleep or to settle me down, & I have to say it really I worked.
THANK GOD for this vide, your last jewellery collection vide (of your other grandmother) is my all time favourite asmr video. I must have watched it about 350 times! I listen to it almost every night before I sleep. So excited to watch this one!!!! Love your videos so much xxxxx
Hey Ilse, super-awesome vid! Did your grandmother spend a my time in East Africa at all, because the box and some of the jewellery are typically East African handicrafts... I have a similar box, belonging to my aunt, who recently passed away, and it's from Tanzania :)
I was so glad you and ASMR were featured on This American Life. It's such a good show, they always find different and interesting topics and stories to cover (hence ASMR!) and I recommend it to everyone to downloaded the podcast.
