Beautiful job! Next time measure from the center and work outwards towards the edges. That way your gap would be even on both sides and you could just put some trim over the tiny gaps at the far edges.
@@HausvonFloof You're welcome! I'm going to try this in our camper too, I have been looking at wallpaper trying to decide what I want. lol We got a leak in our bedroom and need to replace the ceiling, so.... might as well do a make over! ;O)
Currently our walls have the factory wall paper that has texture. Do we need to remove that first ? Silly question I’m sure. Any tips on how to do that ?
Sara you are a BEAST!! That looks amazing!!!!! Im definitely trying this in my camper! Question though: The material behind the master bed...is it the regular textured wallpaper/covering that seems to be in all campers? my master bed is EXACTLY like yours with that curve too....did you do anything to prep it?
I tried wallpapering my RV last night what a headache. Question did you go over the little plastic molding that they put in the corners or did you start from there and move
No, I started under the molding! I think once I just excepted that it’s never going to match up perfectly, it got better… And taking several steps back and realizing from far away nobody knows 😂
@@HausvonFloof yes hun I found it, thanks. You need to be very proud of yourself. You've done a wonderful job with it all 👏 I hope mine looks as good as yours one day lol 🙏
You can put it directly over wallpaper, you just have to prep the wall first but cleaning it with a TSP substitute. And depending how often you use your rig, you may want to use extra adhesive on the corners/ edges.
I talk a little more in depth here: hausvonfloof.com/2020/05/08/camper-wallpaper/ I cleaned it with tsp substitute before hand. Also if you live somewhere where there are big temperature changes, I would suggest using an extra adhesive
@@HausvonFloof yes it’s in a converted sprinter. Thank you. I’ll give that a go and see if that works. I really like it so am hoping I am able to use it. Yours looks stunning.
Thank you! I have bathroom walls with that awful acrylic paneling. I’m going to pop the seam strips off like you did and putty the seams and sand them. Should I rough up the acrylic paneling first before applying the peel and stick wallpaper?
@@AussieWife3746 i would. It also doesn’t hurt to maybe add some gorilla glue to the corners just to ensure that it stays put if you’re going to be somewhere where the temperature changes a lot
Looks great, nice work! Now you're giving me ideas 😆 I'll tackle it next spring.
When are RV manufacturers going to start hiring female interior designers? Great job Sara!
Thanks so much Janet!! And you are so right- such a man thing to do to just make it all brown and beige 😂
It looks so good!!! Beautiful! I got peel and stick to try but have been too nervous to do it lol
You can do it! It's really very easy once you realize that you can take it back off as often as you need to to get it right!
Beautiful job! Next time measure from the center and work outwards towards the edges. That way your gap would be even on both sides and you could just put some trim over the tiny gaps at the far edges.
Yea, I was trying to save wallpaper as I only had so much left 🤷🏼♀️ But it worked out! I was able to add a skinny piece at the end.
So..what did u decide to do? Cut or paint? It looks great!
I painted!
That looks SO nice! I love it!
Thank you so much

Does this hold up in the winter with extreme temperatures?
So cool!!! I want to get a camper someday and I am going to have to remember this-it is so cute!!!
Thanks so much for watching!!

This looked like job I think I better try the back splash first it looked a little easier so I can try to get the hang of it first! 🚍😳😂
It’s actually not bad but the overlapping parts are really annoying!! You just have to know it wont line up perfectly and be ok with it 🤷🏼♀️

Yes, thats the standard wallpaper! I prepped it with the Krud kutter tsp substitute. So far it's holding up great!
Do you have any tips on painting camper walls

Did you wallpaper over the existing wallpaper?
Yes, i sprayed it with tsp and sanded it a little bit before
What did you end up doing about the headboard edge gap? It looks like you maybe installed a piece of trim?
Hi is that stick on counter tops? Do you have a video of how you done your kitchen, it looks lovely
Sarah no, the counters came like that! But i have a video on the kitchen backsplash

So can I not put wallpaper directly on wallpaper? Do I need to paint it?

Hey there! Looks lovely :) did you just go over the existing wall paper that was already there? Thanks!

I’ve put pork and stick on the ply and within 2 days it was all falling down! Any idea why?
Did you rough it up before hand?
@@HausvonFloof no. I googled what to do and it said it had to be smooth!!!
@@Madders23 is it in a camper? Might be moisture. I roughed the wall a little with sandpaper and primer beforehand

I cleaned and followrd every direction
It peels right off
Also tried what another person said to use spray adhesive..nope still pulling away
Did it stick to the RV walls which tend to be like acrylic walls?
Yes, it stuck great 👍

Have you used fabric and starch wallpaper before. Would it work in a camper?
Masey Cakes ooh thats a great question... I have no idea 🤔
How Do u recover the problem in UA-cam subscribers count stuck
how does the wallpaper hold up in the heat?
My most recent video talks all about it!! Link is in description. But it actually held up really well!
