18:08 At the end of the final episode Splinter randomly said "it wouldn't surprise me if someone made a movie about you, and the blue one is the leader now"
Personally, I love the Rise versions of the Krang. It was nice seeing them actually serve as a legit threat, instead of as a joke. I also really like how each of their designs was inspired by previous iterations. Brother heavily resembled the original Krang from the first cartoon, Sister had one eye like Krang Subprime, and Leader, with his personality and the design of his armor, clearly took after Ch'rell, the one true Shredder.
The thing is most versions of the Krang/Utrom AREN’T a joke - they’re threatening because of their tactics and intelligence. The IDW comics I think are the best interpretations of them because they represent what I like about the Krang/Utrom the most (my favorite version of Krang is 1987, but let’s not pretend he’s the most threatening lol)
Rise of TMNT Kraang honestly took the spotlight as a great villain for me compared to Ch'rell. He was exactly what I wanted Ch'rell to be. Honestly hoping if they do another Turtles Forever movie, they bring back Ch'rell and actually make him feel like an Universal threat considering he is an alien warlord conqueror. Hell, even bring the Rise of TMNT animators to animate Utrom Shredder's fight scenes. How cool would he be to see him fight all the turtles (2003, 2012, 1987, and Rise) at once.
ROTTMNT movie is my favorite, because It's just so tragic, in my opinion. I like movies that have that hopeless time, where everything seems like it could not POSSIBLY get better. That's what I feel Mutant Mayhem lacked. I would have liked to go further into the milking plot.
I agree with this entirely. For a while I disliked the Rise movie because it felt like a mediocre zit on a flawless finale, but on my most recent rewatch I viewed it as though it was just a random mid-series TV special and enjoyed it a lot more.
31:31 I liked that part. It felt real. Something serious happened suddenly and unexpectedly and then there is a humorous moment in between. It felt real to me

Yes, I absolutely adore Mikey from Batman Vs TMNT! My friend is into Batman while I'm into TMNT so we watched this movie together & I was chuckling practically every time Mikey was on screen. It gave my friend the incorrect impression that he's my favorite turtle... I guess technically correct because he's my favorite in that movie but I'm ultimately a Donatello fan. The Batman turtles are solid all around. After watching the movie again, I had to incorporate them into an iteration crossover fic series I have because I adore how these turtles are written & am so upset that we don't have more with them.
