Indians everywhere 😍 This is the fourth country I lived. Everywhere I found Indian stores and Indian restaurants easily 😅 it’s really happy to know that people accept Indians and Indian culture
Guys... the building you didn't know is in NYC and is One World Trade Center, the tallest building in western world. Thanks for showing this video thought! PROUD!
It's not the national anthem. The song is called "Taranah-e-Hind". Interestingly the song was written and composed by Mohd. Iqbal, who was born, and died in Pakistan. In the song is a line, "Hindu hai hum"(We are all Hindus), and though the "Hindu" here doesn't mean the religion, still imagine somone writing this in 2022. Mohd. Iqbal, a Pakistani, was one of the most patriotic Indian ever. Descending from the line of Sahaj Ram Sapru(a Kashmiri Hindu), he went on to spread South Asian Islamic poetry to far off places like Persia. Afterall, we are not so different.
Yeah but wasn't he one of the prominent persons who demanded for creation of pakistan? Also the line is 'hindi hai hum' And plus he later composed 'tranana e milli' which has line 'Muslim hai hum vatan hai sara jahan humara' So he might be an excellent poet and an intellectual. There is no way he was patriotic Indian.
@@shreyasingh8378 Yeah, but I see nothing wrong in the phrase from Tarana-e-mili. That's also what Hindus say, "World is one family". As far as I know, he didn't directly demand the partition of India. Now there could be several meanings to a poetry, and fundamentalists like Jinnah exploited that. Moreover, he also often spoke proudly about his Pandit lineage. He is described as "South Asian", not exactly Indian or Pakistani. He is what you get from both Hindu and Muslim, from both India and Pakistan.
@@PaulAllen6304 pls mark his words -“I would like to see the Punjab, North-West Frontier Province, Sind and Baluchistan amalgamated into a single state. Self-government within the British Empire, or without the British Empire, the formation of a consolidated Northwest Indian Muslim state appears to me to be the final destiny of the Muslims, at least of Northwest India.” In his speech, Iqbal emphasised that, unlike Christianity, Islam came with "legal concepts" with "civic significance", with its "religious ideals" considered as inseparable from social order: "Therefore, if it means a displacement of the Islamic principle of solidarity, the construction of a policy on national lines, is simply unthinkable to a Muslim."[68] Iqbal thus stressed not only the need for the political unity of Muslim communities but the undesirability of blending the Muslim population into a wider society not based on Islamic principles.[citation needed] He thus became the first politician to articulate what would become known as the Two-nation theory-that Muslims are a distinct nation and thus deserve political independence from other regions and communities of India. Even as he rejected secularism and nationalism he would not elucidate or specify if his ideal Islamic state would be a theocracy, and criticised the "intellectual attitudes" of Islamic scholars (ulema) as having "reduced the Law of Islam practically to the state of immobility".[
It's Hindi hain (and not Hindu hain), humwatan (compatriots) hain. Hindi meaning not only the language but also the identity...jo Hind (beyond the Hindukush) ke hain. Like as Sahir Ludhianvi has said in one of the songs: Jinhe naaz hain Hind par, wo kahan hain?
You cannot be proud of something which you didn't do, it was not by choice that you were born in India, if you were born in U.S. ,you would have been proud of that country
See, usually when people say stuff like this, they really mean that we should ignore its issues and hush anyone who complains or makes any effort to fix its issues. And this sentiment is very easily manipulated into jingoism which is a detriment to our society and humanity in general. So I don't think anyone should be proud of the country they happened to be born in or adopted. The only thing to have some semblance of pride in, is our individual efforts to improve the world even in the tiniest of ways.

I'm really surprised that Korbin still doesn't recognize our national anthem. It's one thing to say he didn't know the tune and quite another to declare it the national anthem! They certainly know a bunch of bollywood tunes!
This is a bit weird. I have seen other countries celebrating India's Independence day earlier as well. But I don't know if these prominent places or countries do the same for every other country as well. May be I don't know any better. But we also don't light up our prominent monuments to celebrate other country's independence or any special day. Still a lot of other countries do that for us.
100% agree with your educational loan assistance view. Education is the only thing that builds and moves a society forward. It is not a commodity. Only if America invested more in educating its citizens then less than one percent Indians won't be holding top 6% of the jobs in America. Thank god that despite all problems in India, the one thing Indians really value is a good education. America has a great education system but terrible education policy. The richest country in the world needs to do a lot more for its citizens as far as education is concerned. Biden's loan forgiveness is just a very small step in that direction.
Everything for fun. I saw people spending money to buy an Indian flag when they did not have food to it . Just because there were rumours that you would be beaten up if you did not have a flag flying on your house.
