I've fitted these to a 535GT takes minutes as this guy shows. Only difference is the shrouded part at the top off the strut tube isn't on the kyb type. Not an issue but mine had a rubbing sound from the inner edge of the plastic shroud as it moved up and down. I put some lubricant on the lip and also lubricated the rear anti roll bar bushes..sound went but think it was both issues. I did notice the hand brake cables on both sides rub on the hub carriers. I put some rubber hose sliced open/over as sleeves to act as sacrificial items. You can't really bend them out of the way as they are mounted in clips and very rigid. As for the ride on kybs its basically standard quality but does in my opinion rebound a bit much no thanks to the air shocks pushing hard ,Hope it helps.

Hi, could you please specify the distance bolt that fits into the inside thread of the piston rod and which allows you to block the the rod when tightening the nut?

Does anyone know what you call that 18mm hex socket part? The one where you can insert the 6 mm hex bit inside @ 51 seconds on the video!

It's not a socket per se, but a specific tool designed for such jobs. Search for "shock absorber hexagonal counter holders" and you should come across one.

Sorry, my bad. The tool to block the piston rod does have a allen key and thus no thread.

Can you please send me the link for these shock absorbers?
