Babycat is incredible! I’m trying to get my hands on a bottle soon because it is so perfect for the fall/winter season. To me it smells like a hybrid between the smokey/dried fruit/vanilla of Royal Crown’s Sultan and the fluffy/rubbery note of Rosendo Mateu’s N° 5. So so good and I hope YSL makes it available for us in the US soon 😭🤞🏾

I saw Claire's review a while back, but it's good to have multiple view points. The Baby Cat looks like it could be a good one. I wish now, that I had ordered the extreme Noir parfum over the regular one. Haven't smelled Burning Cherry yet. Loved your reviews! I never had a chance to try TF Noir Femme. Maybe it's just me but I keep wondering when we are going to get another sweet and spicy perfume that leans femanine from Guerlain, Tom Ford, or any other brand really. Seems many recent releases are too masculine leaning (for my preference) or just a straight vanilla cookie. Kind of like Libre Le Parfum but maybe a gourmand? Just me. Ok lol
Babycat is one of my best buys this year. It wasn’t easy finding a bottle in Europe either but i managed to find a 125ml. To me it smells like a niche version of By the Fireplace but heavier kn the vanilla. Love your videos❤

@@DanielleNicoleMakeup hello, it’s totally unisex. There is nothing in it that would make it lean one way or another. It has smoke but also sweetness. This could be your best choice for a sweet and spicy one, or Vanille Havane maybe. But if you can get a hold of Babycat, i wouldn’t hesitate .
Hello, Tara! Have you ever tried Vanagloria by Laboratorio Olfattivo? They are very similar (right now I'm comparing them side by side on different hands). To me Vanagloria is a bit smoother and let's say more enveloping whereas Babycat is slightly sharper and more peppery. The longevity and projection of Vanagloria seems to be stronger. Both are made by Dominique Ropion, but Vanagloria was launched 1 year prior to Babycat.
Have you reviewed Les Jardins de Misfah by La Nuit Nomade? It is a beautiful rose/Fig fragrance. It also has a lot of saffron which is the first time I’ve ever noticed saffron in a fragrance. Again it is lovely and priced fairly however it doesn’t project or last as long as I would like, which is very typical. Still I would recommend. The other rose I recently discovered is a Rose Tonnere by Frederick malle. Beautiful fragrance. 😊
I am really curious about Babycat. So many of these don't come to the US for a long time if at all. Hopefully soon. Have you tried Venom of Love the newest release from Navitus? Omg to die for. A beautiful boozy chocolate cherry gourmand that is sweet and spicy. Love it!

Really dumb question, Tara. I’m allergic to the oil from tree nuts, and the new Kayali fragrance says it has the fragrance of “praline.” Praline is usually a sweetened pecan. Are perfumes made with natural oils, or are they synthetic? I emailed Huda Beauty, but they told me that info was “proprietary.” I really wanted to try “Lovefest.” 😢
Hmm. That is a good question. There are definitely synthetic ingredients that can mimic nutty aromas, but because you can extract oil from nuts it would also technically be possible to get it that way. I would be shocked if companies used natural oils in this case, though, as many people have tree nut allergies. Maybe try asking them if the fragrance is safe for those with nut allergies? I don't know why they wish just answer your question in the first place, but perhaps phrasing the question in this way will get a different response?
Babycat does sound like Lune Feline. I thought that before you even said it :) Do you plan on trying the new Navitus Venom of Love Perfume inspired by Paulina Shar?

I got a sample of the TF Noir Extreme this weekend and I can’t put it down. I’m trying to convince myself that it’s similar to Angel’s Share or By the Fireplace so I can skip getting it, but it’s sooooo good. It’s currently on sale at Nordstrom.
Curious to try Babycat, actually. I'll check out TF when I go to Nordy's, need to grab more Soliel Brulant. Can't say that I'm interested in Kayali in general: I do like Lost Cherry, though.

Kayali. Tried it and was underwhelmed.....AGAIN. I wanted it to be smoky cherry with palo Santo. Alas......no. Promises.....then underdelivers.
Yeah, the vanilla one is still the only one I own but I always am tempted to try every new release from Kayali.
