My experience: the older the animal the better and richer the tast but less tender. Will love to know what was your thoughts after tasting. Low and slow cooking works wanders.
@@colliemummy I hear every word you say. oh my god. And, I saw a video yesterday of a murder plant here in america, and it showed thousands upon thousands of chickens hanging from a moving hook system conveyor belt set up that was continuously moving with each hook carrying a dead murdered chicken. I only eat chicken and beef out of protest cause the rotten systems of humans offer no alternatives to the vegetarian lifestyle of which i know nothing, because of, and, thanks to, the meat eating society we live in. the scene of those moving dead chickens was like out of the twilight zone.
Interesting. We bought property and got chicks, we bought 13 and we ended up with 8. 5 of them literally just dropped dead when they were probably 5 weeks old. I had a hard time eating the eggs at first, it took me awhile because I was grossed out 😣 Did you have any hesitation about eating your laying hens? I love the idea of raising meat chickens, but I don’t know if I could do it.
Finding a processing plant? I just didn't want to purchase all the equipment to process chicken so I need to find a processing plant. There is nothing online around me and I don't know very many people where I live.
Thank you so much for this video. Our time is coming soon when we will have to make this decision for our chickens. Not sure if I could process them myself. Your content is just what I needed to hear.

Nice video! I've heard that the older they are the tastier, but less tender. Curious as to what you'll discover at dinner time.
I love animals, and, I live on a farm. I'm lttle by little, going vegetarian and I could never kill a chicken or have them killed. Have a nice day!😢

How do you know you're getting your chickens back?
Not that my opinion matters but…If you are going to eat meat, this is far more humane than getting the standard chicken from the store.
