I live in California where the Governor has mandated mail in voting ballots to everyone in California. In California there are millions of voting ballots floating all over the state. We have people harvesting ballots, dead people voting and people who don’t even live in California voting. The Governor has now made it illegal to ask for ID when voting. When I was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam war area, I had to show up in person, show ID and gladly give over 2 years of my life to serve my country. The idea that a citizen can’t take a half hour out of their day, show ID and vote in person, just doesn’t make sense to me. As long as California has voting by mail, I will always have a question about the result.

It is easy to program a computer to miscount the vote. The first thing I did when I got my first home computer, was to write a program to find out if it was possible to program a computer to do that. It was easy. You just test for who is ahead. If the person you want is, add 1 to their vote count, and get the next vote. If they are behind, you add that vote to the one you want to win, and get the next vote. As easy as that. The only thing we can do is gp back to hand counting the votes and require that the poil watchers be allowed to do their job. In other words, no more of this bullshit about they must be at least 6 feet away, to keep from spreading diseases, and not be able to see the ballot. That has to stop!

No voting machine should be connected to the internet. Period. The elected officer in your county can take the count on the machine add itS total and call it in to the state representatives in turn they can add it up for the state and posted to the public who one the election in your state. Everybody want to make it difficult when it doesn't have to be!

They keep saying that the machines are not connected to the internet = LIES! How did they push updates or patches to the systems by remote? Technically the machines are not physically connected to the internet, but they connected to a router, and the router is connected to the internet. The best way to find out is send in a certified ethical hacker with a laptop and do an ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) scan.

I don't think the issue is whether or not these voting machines are connected to the Internet during the election. It's. what happens to these machines and the information on these machines when they are connected to the Internet after the election? I believe that is the key question here.

Over 10 years ago, Congress heard from a FL Programmer, how he had been contacted to write a program to slightly alter vote tallies and then erase it self after the tallies were reported. He thought this was a test but found out it was being used in actual elections. This testimony was carried by C-SPAN and guess what? Congress did NOTHING because this is one of the ways, even after plunging us $35 trillion in debt and allowing 11+ Million Criminal Trespassing Invaders, they magically get re-elected.

Voting machines are computers that run code. How do they send out a new revision of code? Do they have a tech yanking an EPROM out of every single machine? Of course not! The updates are sent over the net just like your IPHONE update. So yes, there are back doors to get to the net.

Yes, absolutely they should be internet independent counting collectors only, then connected only programatically with the servers to collect votes allowing all tallies and votes to be verified and then the data on each tallying voting machine can be archived to validate the votes are accurate and even allows for statistical verification by reviewing ballots and totals...

Any state, which does not have rigorous Voter ID requirements at the polling places, should not be allowed to vote in any Federal elections. ZERO! They are hackable... code can be inserted that when uploading stats to another system that it reconfigures the count numbers! They don't need to be connected to the internet at the specific time when voting... hacking code can be activated when uploading the results to another system.
