Newcastle Intl isnt plane spotter friendly, they dont let you go up on the roof like you could do. Due to Security reasons. But they also have a wood fence around, so know one can see... Very annoying, as i love planes.
+Adam Tinning Oh yeah I remember there was a balcony and you could go up there and watch planes land/take off to pass the time if you were picking someone up or dropping someone off, then they stopped people being allowed beyond the area just up from the escalators, unless they were passengers
How long does it take to get from newcastle central to the airport on the train and where is the metro station located once i arrive on the virgin service....cheers.

HAMISH HAGGIS well, you go from newcastle central on the green line all the way to the airport and it takes about 20 mins possibly more
