This is pretty much my every day go to watch. Love it ❤
I know very little about watches except for the fact that I watch some of the YT watch grey market shows. All I know is when I was looking for a skeleton watch to buy under $1000, I found this on many of the lists of 'best skeleton under $1000' and I fell in love with the look. Does it resemble the look of RM in the shape of the case and all that? Yes. Will any RM fan confuse this watch with a RM? Never. All I know is you get a really sick looking titanium auto skeleton for $400. You can get the stainless versions for even cheaper, and you can choose what color you want. Great watch IMO.
I agree
It is a Xiaomi watch. A grandfather of their smart watches. 😉
It's everything a skeleton watch can be! 😎... I like the way it fits perfectly on your wrist 🤩 🔥
It’s such a good watch
Great review, love the build quality and the touches of originality! Not your typical homage
Exactly right!
Thanks for the review! I bought one on ebay last year. A very important point for me was that you can read the time effortlessly, the red accents make sure it is. I have quite small wrists (6.5 in), but I still find it very wearable. I only wore it on the very nice orange strap, I don't like the leather strap even though I have had worse ones on other watches. I find the watch really interesting to look at and I think that it is really good value for the price.
That’s true about the accents. Good points. Thanks!
Thanks for the review Chase, agreed it's not an RM Homage but it's kinda similar to Hublot Senna styling imho.
That’s true
I’ve never been a fan of RM watches, I just don’t get the fascination, especially at the outrageous prices. They look like some kids plastic watch. That said, I really like this watch with your black leather band. I could actually see myself wearing it. Enjoy your content!
I really appreciate that
Good review of a well designed nicely made watch 👍 . How was the movement running? Was it fairly accurate in use? Your point about water resistance is correct, surely a rubber strap encourages owners to get it wet.
The movement is very good. Time keeping is very good.
@@allthingsrandom8137 Thank you for replying, that is good to know 👍
It is easy for skeleton watches to give a cheap look, but I dont think this is the case in fact It is the oposite. The only thing I am not sure about is the text on the side of the case 🤔
The text is not that bad. Agree with the cheap looking on most skeleton watches.
isn't 3m water resistant, meaning it can be submerged up to under 30m of water? or at least thats what i always thought!
I did a video and other watch reviewers I’ve done videos, explaining the ambiguity when it comes to water resistance. I would never submerged a watch in water that has a lower water resistance rating and 50 m. And outside of that is the minimum of a 100 m.
When they do pressure testing, they do it in a sterile environment that’s controlled. When you are moving your wrist around or doing other things, there’s certain pressure on certain areas of the watch that could cause water intrusion even just at a service level.
So the rule of thumb is that 30 m of water resistance is essentially just splash resistant
@@allthingsrandom8137 Got you! i will watch the other videos to get a better understanding of how it works. Thanks for clarifying;)
