Grace Notes Part 1: Blues - Hartigan's Keyboard Fundamentals

Grace notes (quick ornamental notes that embellish the melody notes) are used in a wide variety of piano styles. In this video, I demonstrate some grace note techniques and talk about how to incorporate grace notes into blues-related playing.
The Keyboard Fundamentals series is a weekly video in which I take a close look at a single element that's been a big part of my playing, and show how I use it and where it can fit in different musical situations. As the series goes on, I'd really like to talk about topics that viewers are interested in, so please do leave comments. I'll probably look to them for future video topics.

You're adorable...can you show the lick in Tom Waits Mr. Seigal?

I noticed you use a totally different fingering than I do in almost all of the licks... (I never had any blues/boogie lessons ever, just learned it by myself)
Can you explain why you use so many thirds with fingers 2 and 3 (at around 04:00)? I mean, i understand the tremelo is easier that way, but in a regular lick I would play a 3 and 5 rolling around the thumb (1)...
So as a request: why not make a video about finger placement? (and yes pls, for blues and montuno... where I noticed the same things in those great videolessons)
And last but not least: TNX a lot for sharing your great insight ;-)
