You still believing any of this is accidental? Fucking funny.
People complain, yet keep voting for the same people/party.
I miss the old LA, where people had more common sense, not nearly as many woke morons
I see this over and over but I’m really just curious what would a republican legislature do? How would they fix this problem? Literally every time I ask this no one answers with a clear and concise answer

Where is “Hollywood” to help. This has been going on for decades in DTLA.
The tech giants & richest movie stars who live a mile away could figure out a better option & it wouldn't take much either..crickets!
Funny how you think Hollywood gives a shit.
But the problem is growing and no solutions by DEMOCRATS who run these cities!!! They keep pandering to the minorities about racism and police brutality. They de-criminalize crimes while at the same time tell others they are not allowed to defend themselves or their cities. Look at the viral country song "not in a small town"... that song talks about how people in a small town defend themselves against riots and violence to protect their neighbors... but democrats call that song "racist"! What happened to the democratic party? It seems they are out to destroy the country!
Many in Hollywood are no longer around. Many Hollywood elites have been rounded up in indictments for violating EO 13919, they went to GITMO.
Hollywood to help? Because there are a high percentage of people that are affluent there! But all they can spend their money on is bigger houses, fancier cars, plastic surgery, maid, cooks ,and vacations
All I can say of is 'OH MY GOD!' Sure glad I moved out of California.
Me to.
Not just California, it's in every major city all the way up into Canada. Unprecedented eviction rates due to covid and job loss on top of a fentanyl/opioid use spike recently made worse by the introduction of tranq... Buckle up, it's likely to get worse.

People voted for Hugo Soto-Martínez, who said he wasn't going to push people out during his campaign. At least Mitch O'Farrell tried to keep the area safe! yet people voted him out! Hugo isn't going to do anything. I say recall him!
I'll never understand why people voted out Mitch O'Farrell. He was doing a good job balancing the needs of homeless and residents. But because he wasn't an extremist at either end, he's ousted?
@@WestOfEarth Hugo Soto-Martínez took advantage of the Echo Park situation when Mitch O'Farrell removed the homeless encampment. Over 250 people were living in the park. Hugo had his team go and record what took place at night during the removal and he demonized Mitch O'Farrell for putting up a fence around the park. When I questioned Hugo via Twitter about his overall policy and agenda I was blocked. He is trying to be the AOC of District 13 but even AOC is rational. Mitch O'Farrell was ousted due to low turn out and Hugo got the 18-25 demo vote. Hugo needs to be recalled.
The problem is just growing in California. I was in santa cruz during the obamy era, the trump era and the distaster of obiden era...their was DEFINITELY a difference in the years.
I left last year...obiden with big mikes directions have made it unrepairable.
I agree it its more a state & local issue. Folks in big cities seem to always vote blue. Its almost ingrained in them.
There was hardly any homeless when Bush and Obama were president especially Bush.
Happening in every american city and getting worse.
Y'all should sue the city for violation of ADA act
One of the many reasons we left LA. Homelessness is an issue and unless you actually do something about it more people are going to leave.
They don't care... California could lose 1M people a year for 20 years and they'd still have over 20M
Homelessness is an issue because of they're not being affordable housing or livable wages as well. Blame it on the right people

Between drug addicts and Trumpers, I don’t know which is worse.
I don't even live there and my compassion is exhausted for the "people experiencing homelessness." When people who had made the investment and commitment by buying property in the neighborhood have to take a back seat to those who will turn the area into a drug infested Shanty town there is a dangerous imbalance. To wait until the homeless are afforded free housing is the same as saying "we have no interest in doing anything and will wait the situation out." Criminal.
Do you honestly believe that the only reason someone is homeless is because they are a criminal or do drugs or have mental illness? Do you not realize that there are some people that are homeless that at one time had made the investment and commitment to buying property and a neighborhood and something happened to drastically decrease their ability to maintain that lifestyle?I'm pretty sure you're not too many weeks from being in the same situation as they are
@@words.Of.Truth. I do appreciate that people fall on hard times and find themselves without a home. I also appreciate the challenges home owners face when their neighborhoods are no longer safe. I found the image of children having to walk to school amongst needles and human excrement upsetting.
"I'm pretty sure you're not too many weeks from being in the same situation as they are"
It's probally more precarious than that. if you live in that area, most likely you don't own where you live. Your landlord could decide to zip and flip you out and rent to someone else who has much more money than you. You are dependent on someone else and their thoughtwaves when you rent. landLORD, remember?
And when it's boogie woogie, let the good times roll again, your rent will skyrocket. Just ask all the renters who got pushed out of their apartments in San Francisco during the dotcom craze of the late 1990s/early 2000s.
Give them trash services and stop abusing them!!!! Also I’m tired of seeing kids alone on the street I feel like a parent abandoned them and will begin calling the cops if I see abandoned children!
You should go there and pick up their trash!
The same parents that say they are worried about their children walking on the street next to the encampments, are the same ones that are still laying up in their bed with their little sleep mask on and cucumbers instead of getting up fixing the children breakfast getting them ready into the vehicle and taking them to school
"This is not a homelessness crisis but a drug addiction crisis..." Pon Zinvestor.
Moving them can hurt their housing chances? What kind of bs thinking is that?
There is the work force that isn't working, so lets bring in more people to off set this ?
Since the numbers are getting bigger and bigger you’re not going to fix this without clearing out the encampments. Services don’t help appreciably and there will never be enough “you can do drugs here” housing. Sobriety is difficult before you are at this point so you have to disconnect users from the drug supply not enable the clustering we’re seeing now.
"Sobriety is difficult before you are at this point so you have to disconnect users from the drug supply not enable the clustering we’re seeing now"
This will require them to be locked inside a building, an "institution" if you will, where the enviroment is highly structured and there are strict rules, so they don't have access to drugs and alcohol, and they have to accept treatment for their mental illnesses.
But we decided 40 or so years ago that this was inhumane, so we shut those places down and turned them loose on the streets. We also told cities that they should provide mental health services but that they didn't actually have to.
And thus the situation today.
KEEP VOTING FOR DEMOCRATES AND YOU WILL GET THE SAME
Prison is the answer.
Good, hope they move deep into Hollywood. Bus them there.
Where is the mayor of los angeles karen bass HIDING? she promised people she WAS going to take care of the homeless situation in la. I guess she proved that she is a USELESS at that position. she is not fit for that role. recall her.
Move them out to desert with tents away from residential ares.
Why other countries have less crime than America and less homelessness? Easy: the death sentence and harsher laws that scares other people to not commit crimes.
Are you talking about the Middle East?
I’m just saying other countries have less crime due to their harsher laws while america use jails all the time for their crime problems.
@@Lone432345 Why would assume the Middle East?
Homelessness is not the problem, it is drug abuse and mental illness that has caused them to be Homeless. Must treat the root cause first to solve the problem. Forced treatment is the only way.
Because nobody is homeless because they can't afford the high cost of Living in California.
Lol 😂 hahaha bass found out there's money to be made instead of $800 she's charging $790 amonth but recipes are posted as donations 😂😂😂😂

Sad
NOT the Hollywood foreign tourists imagine...surely.
This is what happens when you don’t enforce simple laws .
Residents are outrage at the cost of living that led to the homeless.
The entire west coast is becoming a encampment for homelessness, California governor Gavin Newsom and the wealthy are very proud of the work that is being done on the west coast, keep voting for Democrat !
It's their own fault. The LA homeless budget is only $1.3 BILLION this year, which is just 10% of the entire city budget. Clearly more money is needed and these people in Hollywood must make voluntary payments to the city so they can fix the problem!
Light a match and that will get rid of them
Voting has consequences. Ask San Francisco.
Just provide housing first and with no limitations or restrictions. Use abandoned places and commandeer them for housing projects. Only way to defeat this problem
Stop paying your taxes until the city does something about this.
BYE👍🏿. I’m GLAD many of you are leaving Metro Los Angeles. Texas & Florida awaits you’ll💯.
Have you tried changing your voting habits yet
If only the government would do something about it!
Maybe the Hollywood residents should be asking public officials what they are doing to help these people , instead of asking , when are you going to get them out of here . Remember anyone can become homeless . They are not sleeping in the street because it is a comfortable location , and they want to get a better tan .When you see them remember this could be you . Give that some thought before you pass judgement .
Hollywood made its bed ...time to tuck themselves in hunker down
The city needs to make camping on streets ILLEGAL
All I heard was screw the residents & the students, the homeless are victims and WILL be prioritized. Good job LA, lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why is that homeless people get priority over children trying to get to school safely. 🙄
You guy's get the government you deserve. Not one politician with the guts to sort out the problem, but instead effectively castrate the police force.
Your law of not prosecuting shoplifters for less than $1000 of goods has worked a real treat especially and led to major retail providers and supermarkets shutting down and leaving previously profitable areas.
Everyone's a loser and politicians do nothing as entire areas are ripped apart and trashed.
Oh my goodness

@@taryntaryn9090 You are horrible. You treat people like garbage and I hope you get treated the same.

"Those experience homelessness."
There needs to be designated areas in every big city to the tiniest town across America or just California for homeless to be able to use a toilet, shower and sleep(shelter and food not included). So that if you are homeless you have no excuse that you have no place to go besides the sidewalks. Then no one will have a right to just build an encampment on public sidewalks, or just anywhere they choose and endanger others including themselves.
That’s why you don’t see this in red cities. It’s a public health issue and safety threat. Democrats control that state and have no solutions 🤦🏾
Then it just becomes more permanent. They need public housing or jobs.
Just because someone is homeless does not mean they are a danger to others!
@@tamrix most of these people could not work a job if you gave them one. But what's worse is that the DON"T WANT to work, nor do they want housing. With housing come rules unless you are going to give them a 24/7 maid service and food delivery. They want no responsibility, live where ever they want and do whatever they want.
@@bigdog2618 Razor wire and guard dogs sound good to me. Homeless people destroy every area they camp in and eradicate whatever local goodwill there was.

That particular park has been a trouble spot for years, and people have gotten beaten up by transient 'gangs' who hang out in there.
But a Skid Row style encampment? This is a new one. :-\
Vote blue no matter who.
You could probably renovate and establish homeless shelters in the many empty military barracks in the area for a couple of million. Make it a Federal program instead of draining taxpayers" needed money for other projects. The Federal program would completely remove the homeless encampments off the streets of Los Angeles. Clothing, Food, Shelter, medical, mental and job training would be provided. A city bus service would be set up to allow the homeless to come and go from the barracks but it would be with the caveat that if they are found living on the streets again they would be transported back to the barracks. Can anyone tell me why this would not work. Does anyone have the initiative to take this on. I am 72 yrs old with an idea.
