The preheat water will be the same temperature as your hot water is set to. If it is too hot it might be the fact that you are using your heating at this time of year. The boiler cant lose the heat it creates unless it moves it into your water. Turn the heating flow temperature down and that should help.
I have a Glow-Worm Flexicom 30sx. Any idea why it stays at 65°C when heating the radiators only? The temperature on the boiler is set at 75°C. It goes to that temperature when heating the water and when heating the water and radiators together but not when heating just the radiators.
its called a page break. Engineers can add a page break to see if a fault reappears after they have repaired a boiler. So if the last 10 faults are F75 the engineer can add the page break and try and fix the issue. If it returns the fault history would be F75 nnn F75 F75....
@@HeatingGeek useful to know! Thanks very much. Looks like mine has a low pressure error before, but nothing since the engineer last serviced it a year ago which is nice!
Hi. Was hoping you could help? My Flexicom boiler is flashing F11. It often flashes F9 and sometimes F5 and I just reset and/or top up, but I've not seen F11 before. I have covid and need to keep warm so can you guide me on what to do please? Thanks

I have a Glow worm flexicon 24CX, the display is the same as the one in your video, and when we use the heating, for some reason the pressure showing in the display keeps going up and up slowly and never decreases. within a week, as we use the heating, the pressure showing in the display goes up to 2.7 bars. I then need to use one of the drain off valves in one of the radiators and drain some water in order to bring the pressure down to 1.0-1.2 bars. What is causing this? I'm monitoring this situation and when using just hot water in any of the taps, it doesn't make the pressure to go up and up like when using the heating.
@@ruinunes8251 Yeah. They let by. So they are off but still let water through. The vessel you will need a GasSafe engineer to do as it breaks the combustion chamber seal to check and the boiler will need to be safety checked if that happens.
Always good to see an engineer who know what he's talking about, sadly their a rare breed these days.

Hi there I have S 30 code I noticed you said it was no demand ? How would I fix this any help appreciated
Get a demand from your external controls. S.30 is no demand. Make sure everything is turned on. :-)
It was a communication issue with my hand held thermostat. Once I reset and “learnt” them again it’s fine. Many thanks.
@@MrChristo1985 Glad, it was easy. :-)
Work on the flexicom 30cx most days . S codes and the d codes are a god send sometimes 🖒
I didn't even think about how much I use them until I done that video. Top bit of kit.

Really interesting, any ideas if a Glow worm boiler's heat is going up and down constantly?
On hot water or heating?
Hi, what does the S97 code mean? I have pressure of 1.6bar but boiler isn't providing hot water
Do you know how to reduce the tem of preheated water which is almost boiling all the time?

The boiler cant lose the heat it creates unless it moves it into your water. Turn the heating flow temperature down and that should help.
How do you fix an S30 code?

Check the status codes. They are in the book. They might tell you why the boiler isn't getting hot enough.
Any idea what "uu" means on the Fault memory (holding mode and - for 5 seconds)? Or just means no error stored?

I have f9code showing on my glowworm flexicom 12hx condensing boiler.this is not a combi. Any ideas
F9 means the boiler is getting too hot too quickly.
Hi, good videos, my boiler has an S31 code and is also having trouble heating the water. What does the S31 code represent?
S31 = No demand.
Like all your videos, very informative. Did you get round to uploading the repair footage?

any idea why I can't see the pressure on display? it's temperature only. 18sx
If you turn off the heating and hot water it will default to the pressure. I think you can also press the - button while running too.
And how do you pump up the vessel ?
Lots of videos show it. :-)

The vessel and the filling loop are probably causing the issue.

Both valves in the filling loop are tightly shut, I just double checked. The expansion vessel... how can I check that?
