Yes... it is a BIG system with tons of trout and plenty of big fish too. The dry fly fishing is usually great but just didn't happen while we were there on this trip. We were lucky to grow up on this water!
good to see you back home, Bryan. great work on the video presentation! Maybe stop at Cattaraugus Creek (my home water) outside of Arcade on my way up north this year. Tight lines!
We camped there a few years back.. I didn't go for the lakers but caught some nice bass! I hear there are lakers in there but don't know much about fishing them there. Trolling deep is probably what I would do too. Good luck!
Hey ! Just came across your channel while searching videos on Hornbeck canoes ! Great videos and as an avid fly fisher I know that spot well living here in Clinton NY ! Keep those videos coming I just subscribed to your channel ! Best, Rob
Thanks Mike! It takes so much effort, thought and planning but I'm starting to get used to it and I like the end product. I just hope it makes a difference for the channel. That brown wasn't the biggest we've had but it sure was the prettiest! You just gotta love a fish like that!
My man! Excellent video!! Never got out to the WC! Nice looking water 👍 great job you guys had a nice day..... we will have to hit some small streams together soon
What?? No Way!!! Too funny! We got the big one just after you floated through. Hope you guys did well that day too! Gotta imagine water temps are good again out there. Water was 60 degrees that day... I was shivering in my waders later that night hoping for a hatch that never materialized.
@@floatsgone1213 Thanks for the invite. I tend to make it out that way about once a year these days. I'm probably done for this year in favor of other adventures but maybe next year.
I haven't kept a trout in a long time. I almost kept a 12" brookie from a pond this spring but ended up letting it go. No one in my family likes eating fish...
@@WhiteDogTrailCompany Ahh just wondering, sometimes I see guys walking with stringers on their side dragging fish around or what I do personally use a creel if I plan on wading all day. I was curious to see what someone with a lot more experience than me would do. Thanks anyways!
The colors on that 20" brown were incredible! May be the prettiest brown I have ever seen!
Yeah!!! Seriously one of the prettiest browns! We were super happy :)
Awesome video!
Thanks M-Dog ;)
Congrats to Brent on his PB. Those stockies were some high fliers.
LOL... yeah the little ones like to jump :)
That really is a beautiful stream!!

Hey Mike! Thanks! Good luck if you do.
Thanks for sharing! We are camping Lewey lake at the end of this month, hoping to troll around there a bit, I've read there are some lakers deep down.

Stunning video man. You should be proud of this production. Loved it! That brown that Brent got was AWESOME. Huge and great colors. Nice job man!

I just fished west Canada creek for the first time a few weeks ago. Didn’t get any brownies but lots of native brookies.
Ah.. you were in the headwaters above the reservoir then. I've never fished up there.

Thanks Dan! Appreciate it! The drone arrived today!!! I need a little time to work things out with it but would love to get out soon!
White Dog Outdoors sounds good my man! Looking forward to it.
Great video of my former "home waters" Bryan.
Thanks... I make it back once a year if I'm lucky... even though it really isn't that far away.
That was me and my buddy ryan on the cataraft...

You tell me when and we can float it anytime.

What do you do with the fish if you decide to keep a couple?
