Der späte Vogel - Zu Besuch bei den Cavallos

Ein schöner Feierabendflug. Nach dem Start in Ruhpolding ging es in einer recht turbulenten Luft über dem Haßlberg an die Wolkenbasis. Vorbei an dem Hochfelln und dem Hochgern folgte die Talquerung zur Hochplatte. Vorbei an den imposanten Felstürmen der Kampenwand flog ich über das Priental zur Hochries. Durch die fortschreitende Abschattung endete der Flug im Nußdorf am Inn, wo mich eine Gruppe aufgeweckter "Cavallos" begrüßte. Es folgte ein kleiner Hike zum Bahnhof von Brannenburg, wo ich den Zug zurück nach Hause nahm.

A nice after-work flight. After the start in Ruhpolding, I climbed to the cloud base over the Haßlberg in quite turbulent air, shifted by the east wind. Passing the Hochfelln and the Hochgern, I crossed the valley to the Hochplatte. Passing the imposing rock towers of the Kampenwand, I flew over the Priental to the Hochries. Due to the progressive shading, the flight ended in Nußdorf am Inn, where a group of bright "Cavallos" greeted me. A short hike to Branenburg station followed, where I took the train back home.
