How To Get Paint Off Of Laminate Flooring-Easy Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to get paint off of laminate flooring. It is actually really easy to do, and I use some really light cleaners to get the job done. You have to be prepared to scrub a little and put some elbow grease in. Some people will tell you to use a harsh cleaner or chemical, but that's not a great idea. I recommend using something that is light duty but putting in the work. And make sure to use a cloth that won't scratch the floor and the paint should come off of the laminate floors easily without damaging the floors.

Vinegar (3:56) is acidic.
Generic cleaning advice for laminate floors (e.g. HomeDepot) say "Don’t use abrasive or acidic cleaners"

I got curious and looked into it. Turns out vinegar is mildly acidic, (which I knew,) but it's very dilute and doesn't ionise well. Long story short, it's a very, very weak acid. You'd do more damage pouring Coke on the floor. (And the myths about carbolic acid dissolving teeth are BS.)

Two rags. One with lacquer thinner. The other to wipe dry. Takes half the time than what this guy did.
