I know of talented management staff with over 20 years with INTUIT (OutOfIt) included in this lay-off. Sell your stock?
It would have been more respectful, considerate and socially acceptable to have included these committed ambassadors in the AI transition. Not sure what they mean by "not meeting expectations" or what process was taken. Were staff informed of what the expectations were? Were they aware of how they were measured?
Intuit invested in AI to reduce costs, yet claim the lay-offs were not to reduce cost and imply the 10% just did not meet expectations. BS. This implies Intuit's HR staff picked one looser out of 10 employees, management lacked vision for an inclusive transition, and the PR firm should be fired. SHAME on Intuit!
