I am using mO2 1.4.2 and Final Cut Pro 10.5.1, you are showing in your video two versions of mO2, one as a Title and the other one as a Generator, you are using the second version. I only have the Title version. I sent an email to motionvfx support. I uninstall and reinstall, but not yet any Generator version. Do you know if something has changed with the installer since you produced your tutorial. After writing this message I uninstalled and reinstalled, now it works as it should.
When are you coming out with MO3? I bought MO2 a few months ago and cannot use it thanks to Apple's FCP upgrade. You mentioned a new version coming out. When will that be? And will you be giving a discount to those of us that bought MO2?
Must be so cool to have so much fun with these expensive products. I've purchased M02 and Mtracker and countless plug-ins and most don't work or hang up the macbook pro so badly it's not worth the hours waiting to make a 3 second reel and countless shut downs. Starting simply with the 'pick position for M02' .... that doesn't work whatsoever. I click on that circle and absolutely nothing appears on my clip. Additionally, in Mtracker, the vast majority of clips don't track at all. Track the clip, add an area or text after applying the data and the item just floats throughout the scene. It's ridiculous.
1.58: By holding CMD you add "multiple positions". For what reason would you need to add more than one position (given that only one 3D object is imported at a time - and if you'd want to import more than one, you'd just set the position every time you import a new object and then paste the tracking data to it/them)?
Hey guys I'm struggling to get this to work on my m1 Mac mini. When I used the built in USDZ models I have a way easier time using mtracker 3d. As soon as I add M02 to the time line my Mac becomes unusable. Any ideas on how to recover fps? Or maybe how to import usdz without using m02?
Yes. Opacity options are in the materials section toward the bottom. You can also lower the opacity of the mo2 generator itself and all opacities will be adjusted uniformly.
Paid for it during prepay, but cant even use it because fcpx crashes and wont load in Catalina for some reason. I have all system requirements minus the metal video card thing.
@@annajaroszek9034 nvidia disables itself...has been since mojave, but at least I could still use fcpx in mojave. Cant in Catalina and those are the system requirements. I have literally everything but the metal video upgrade. Which makes it pointless for me to own mtracker 3d. #frustrated.

So its still not compatible natively with the m1pro/max?

At the add alpha channel step, I click add alpha channel and the background beneath does not show. It’s just a black screen

That's just an example, that this can be done :)
@@motionvfx I understood that. What I asked is what use would placing multiple positions have? When you want to do what?
You can select multiple positions for mO2, and it'll create corresponding subgroups (in the mO2), so you can add your models there

mO2 hasn't been updated for the new Apple Silicon Macs yet.

This tutorial is in FCP, so no. You can use mo2 in Motion and FCP.
