@@rsc8841 it’s more the drive train, clutch etc that I’d be concerned about. The engine is used in the S3, Golf R etc so it’s obviously gonna hold the power okay.
@@jimjamthebananaman1 02M/02Q gearboxes are strong af, drag 1.9tdi's use the same box (different ratios obviously) but they can take 800-900nm easy. There's also a 4th gear support bracket you can get for them just to keep things safe. Overall very strong engines and gearboxes.
@@danielhozan6927 higher insurance has nothing to do with getting modded parts back. insurance will be higher because a faster car equals a higher risk of getting in a car crash therefore you have to pay more for your insurance
I own a polo 6r 1.4, not a GTI, and I feel like Polo's are more for affordable VW looks, Music quality, comfort and stance than performance, but i definitely wouldn't mind owning this Polo. Nice one mate.

It's the same engine as the mk7 gti/R and it's faster than those golfs because it's lighter and more agile. Also there is not much difference between this car stock and an mk7 GTI.

In Germany VW used to sell 2litre of these called Polo R WRC with 220ps which been limited to 2500 pieces.
Not the same engine. Ea113 to ea888.3.

I can't imagine longevity is high when your pushing all the stock internals to their max more wear and tear
Running similar power on my 6P Cupra same engine, 2 years no issues, EA888 Gen3 engines are strong when looked after.

Sorry never realised the clutch was upgraded. Just the rest of the internals that will be fucked

I would recommend doing e40 tune rather than bigger turbo and spend the money on the the LSD diff it can't be that expensive to get a drum of it
How do these high HP FWD cars do in the wet? I struggle with a stock GTI at times, how do people do it with an extra 100hp? haha
A LSD helps quite alot 👍 cuts down torque steer quite abit

Spend some money on suspension modifications, LSD, and tires like the other two guys suggested really help a ton!
