Italy and Switzerland are members of the Schengen states. If you have a Schengen visa to enter Italy then it typically includes entry to all countries in the Schengen region which includes Switzerland. There was no passport or Visa check when we boarded the train and crossed the border from Italy to Switzerland
You two look cute together. I love watching this video! One day you will pack your backs and return to Milan and buy all the LVs, Pradas, and Versaces you want! 😍
Hi! Yes there is. I had to use my credit card for this. I believe we used this facility in front of the Milano Centrale station Stow Your Bags - Luggage Storage +39 02 3929 7870 goo.gl/maps/7qvegDi4c31qTUXf8
Hi, nice video. We’re going to turino to milan next week and considering also going to switzerland for a day trip and then back to milan. 😅 possible ba yan balikan milan-thun (switz)-milan for a day only. And how much would cost a train. Is there a tourist card to get a cheapest train fare? Thanks in advance.
from a maximum of €72.00 if you purchase it on the same day of the trip, to €51.00 (SMART2) and a minimum of €29.00 (SMART) if you purchase it well in advance. Prices for a one-way trip in 2nd class without changing trains
I forgot how much we paid but we booked the tickets about 2 months before our trip. You can check the rates out for your dates at www.thetrainline.com. Standard tickets for the same route 2 weeks from now range at $45 - $75 USD (one way). The trip takes less than 3 hours so if you plan your time well I'm sure you can do a day trip

Kishan Mistry Hello, this was last October (2019) before virus outbreak. We don’t know what the situation is right now in Italy and Switzerland. I think it’s best to check your country’s current travel advisories.
Hi thanks for watching! I read about the Eurail pass but we ended up not getting it. I compared the price of getting the pass versus how much we would be paying if we buy the tickets individually and it was cheaper to do the latter. We took the intercity trains only four times during our entire stay which is not frequent enough to get a bargain out of the Eurail pass. To get the tickets cheaper though we booked it 1-2 months in advance via TheTrainline.com or Omio.com. Hope this helps
Hi! Just a question. Did they also check passport/ visa on the train from Milan to switzerland?
They did not. We couldn't even tell exactly where the border was
