Completely agreed. When I first entered this space in 2014 the best dual joysticks were CH sticks and nobody even talks about them anymore (and imho for good reason).
@@SilasFarseer Unfortunately APEM (CH Products parent compan) doesn't seem interested in refreshing their joystick line and is mostly about their industrial products, with the prices the VKB, Virpil and company have they could swap two of the buttons on the Flightstick Pro wth 4 way hats and sell it as a cheaper yet still reliable lefty stick. Not that you can't basically have similar results with a Pro Throttle (I played Descent, Overload and now Everspace with it) but it seems people that really prefer a full lefty stick and don't have enough money can only get a t-16000m.

VKB has released the SCG Kosmosima grip. I own 2 of these with Gunfighter Mk2. I love them. Every button feel right in place for my medium sized hand. Now the MCG grip is also available with a twist option. I plan on buying one MCG for the 2 trigger which would permit to fire weapon 1 and 2 independantly and simultanously. I will also buy the upgrade from Gunfighter Mk2 to Mk3. At the time I bought the joysticks, VKB also selled the upgrade from GF Mk1 to Mk2. It is nice to know that VKB propose this and that you can still upgrade your hardware without buying a whole joystick every time.
VKB and VIRPIL, HAS A SHIPPING OR STOCKPILES PROBLEM, At least for the United States. They’re alway out of stock. If you want to get the grips, they’re out of the bases and if you want bases , then they don’t have grips. I want to throw my money at either one company . but they are away out of stock.
I have tried Virpil's last four "restocks", not enough stock each time... Or sold out as soon as the server is ready for orders. It's nice to see that reviewers get the easy route to getting stock. That and the fact that neither Virpil or VKB have a pre-order function- are souring opinions on their service. Not worth the hassle since neither company will stock sufficiently to meet the need they are hyping up. I'll make do with my Warthog, it only took me one attempt to get, and only three days to receive. A shame they couldn't get an Amazon shop going. I would have been sold from there.
@@darendehaan2876 Sorry to hear that man, something similar happened to me with VKB,... they had backorder function back at the time I tried to buy from them, but after they delayed my order like two times I cancelled it and went to Virpil... and got lucky I guess...
@@darendehaan2876 Though frustrating with the stock situation, it is getting better. That said, for me its definitely worth the wait; that is coming from someone who had their Warthog break at the crappy plastic gimbal & no real options to fix it from TM or 3rd party. Fortunately VKB & Virpil were emerging at that point and I gave it a shot & no regrets...
It's taken VKB 2 years to come out with the grips that were promised (kosmosima) when the gunfighter was introduced. It has been frustrating to say the least. And I would not recommend them to everyone. On the other hand, the Gunfighter is an amazing stick and top notch build quality but the manufacturer is obtuse to the needs of the customer and are very slow to respond, if at all. there was a change in the base from the original gunfighter even before any of promised grips were released. There was no buy-back option or upgrade kits available for the gunfighter mk I to the mk II. Which would have been all that was needed and lack of any info on release dates with sketchy availability. On their behalf, they are a custom high end manufacturer and at the quality level and design that they offer...vkb and virpil are really the only choices for the discerning customer. Choose your poison. I'd probably roll Virpil Warbird had I to do it all over again. My 2 cents.
I appreciate the rundown. I see numerous comments below highlighting the difficulty of actually obtaining both VKB and Virpil products because of stock shortages. Additionally, I concur with another comment below, a major consideration is how they compare price wise. That would be good info to have.
I know in the flight sim community, CH pedals are supposed to be an excellent value for $130. The rudder equivalent of the Thrustmaster T16k Hotas setup (best value hotas according to reading, once you lube them with a specific grease).
I had been training for years to get VKB sticks. Not with joysticks, with Glastonbury tickets. Essentially a syndicate of computers across different IPs the second they restock... Glad I have them, glad they narrowly won, now I just have to actually learn how to use them. See y'all at jumptown!
Virpil also has new stick in the constellation series coming, in their own words the delta is the entry level and the new one will be the premium. One of their reps popped in on the SC reddit and confirmed it.
Yeah, I got this message from Viripl when I inquired about the Delta, "Constellation Delta Grip is our entry level grip in the Constellation series. No changes will be made to the Delta Grip, but in the future more grips will be added to the Constellation line up and may feature more adjustments. However, there is no ETA for this just yet."
I thought the style worked really well - definitely more NoBullShit than L-holding, but it works. It pays off in the actual fights, and the blow-by-blows were a great mix of deep info, style, and speed. The video was actually over before I expected, so it moved well, and the color gradient rankings were spot on. The only thought I have on how to improve would be to hold up titles of each joystick at the start, since it was hard to follow the contenders through their introductions.
It sounds like Virpil has the best grip and VKB has the best base. I think Ill wait for the Kosmosima before deciding. I really wanted this vid. But I didn't like the format Im afraid. I did appreciate the effort put in.
Some months ago we spoke about the VKB gunfighter base to stick disconnect issue. I contacted VKB...received a quick and helpful reply. However the "fix" by undoing the cam lock - pushing down on the stick to base - tightening the cam lock with extra force...as suggested on some other sites...did not work. Over the months it eventually got worse. I locked out the twist option with included screw. Helped a little but eventually the disconnects were happening more often. Last night I decided to take the stick section apart...lo & behold after doing some continuity checks on the three (black yellow red) wires that feed the tiny board with three tiny spring loaded pin connectors... I discovered a broken red wire inside the twist & power connection tube. You pretty much need to disassemble the whole twist mechanism to get at the tiny pin board. After a little solder job and some extra solder on the black wire connection which looked thin... boom! VKB Gunfighter III stick to base issue solved. Works excellent....I ran the stick through all possible positions. Power light stays lit...buttons are all working. I didn't have to push down with excessive pressure on stick or overtighten the cam lock either. Back to loving this VKB Gunfighter Mark III Space Combat edition.
Really want to play with the new flight model before I decide on a control scheme, that said, I'm pretty sure that dual 16000s is it for me. Watching this channel is like watching Top Gear sometimes. I can decide that I definitely choose the Koenigsegg over the Ferrari, then climb into the Focus for a beer run. :)
since backing Star Citizen, I've been through 3 T16000's and 2 Warthogs. I got tired of the minor iritations and lack of solid build quality. The most expensive sticks are the sum of all the sticks you go through to wind up with the sticks you should have gotten in the first place. Don't compromise on your sticks and you won't regret it....for what it's worth, IMHO
Very enjoyable. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I completely agree, there's a number of variables to consider as to whether one should go with one stick or the other and often it comes down to knit picky things or availability when looking to buy
+BrianMP5T *All the control grips in the Joystick Fight are short switches needed for the universal simpit.* Neither the Virtual Engineering Bureau nor VirPil Controls has analogues for all the subcontrol items OKB Milja specified for the Mi-24BM/Mi-26SMD/Mi-28SMT cyclic and collective grips from AvijaAvtomatika. For each of both left and right grips, the top pod needs two pushbuttons in the top corners, three five-way trims, and an analog ministick/push to the rear, and a three-way trim to the outboard side; the right (cyclic) grip needs two folding triggers of different lengths and travels (goldenrod for the short 100° trigger, red for the long 180° trigger), the left (collective) grip one black 180° folding trigger. The handle needs a two-stage gray trigger with a red push beneath; a five-way trim at the top, and a semi-flush cyan push in the side, of the thumbrest; and a red semi-outriggered pinky button. Both could use an analog squeeze handle in the column extension (as all Russian aircraft use an air-brake controller on the attitude/cyclic stick, Mil and Kamov helicopters a clutch release on the collective pitch arm).
Yes, but that does not mean that everyone needs it on their game controller sir. I’m sure that 99% of all people who want a joystick, just want it to play games that have none of those requirements.
Bravo! Style that does not lose the no BS to the point comparisons. Now this is avant-garde presentation all while bringing back my childhood at the controls of some Rock Em Sock Em battling robots with my child hood friends.

@@yugen I was surprised too as prior to this I had to buy a new joystick every 2 years or so. Before this I had 2 Saitek 45's a Saitek 54, 2 Logitech pro's. when the last 54 broke, I went looking for a Thrustmaster and came across the CH Fightertick. It was cheaper than the Thrustmaster, so I bought it and paired it with a surviving Saitek 54 throttle and I've been using it ever since. The only maintenance I've done is to put some silicone grease in the parts where there is friction and used a camera lens brush to remove the dirt and dust from the insides and the various nooks and crannies.
Cool video! 1 small detail, Thrustmaster showed a new handle at E3, a Hornet based grip. The other 2 things Thrustmaster premiered at E3 are out, so if the new handle isnt out, it very soon will be. But, it doesn't make a difference, it still has the same problem with a plastic gimbal. It's why it is half the price of the other reviewed sticks here. And of course VKB announced a new stick as well (Tomcat based), but it takes them a lot of time to get new things out, and they have a few things prequeued ahead of it (a space stick and a throttle).
@@NOOBIFIER1337 Awesome! I look forward to it like I do all your videos. Maybe if we're lucky, Thrustmaster, with their renewed interest in flight sims, might make a more up to date base so as to be able to keep up in the industry. Right now, its only upside is it's always available, unlike Virpril and VKB.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 I just learned something that might interest you. I've read you can swap a Thrustmaster grip onto a Virpil base and it works 1 to 1, no firmware or software updates. The tester used the old Virpil base, but what works for the old base should work for the new? It would be awesome if you were willing to test this! Might add value to the Virpil base with the Thrustmaster Hornet standalone grip coming soon! To me this cements Virpil over VKG, now someone needs to coax TM into selling the Warthog grip standalone. They might well sell it to me for the request, I know they do that for other parts. Virpil must have done that on purpose, very good choice on their part! One more way to undercut TM with their superior product. www.reddit.com/r/hotas/comments/6wjhkx/warthog_grip_on_virpil_base/ The thread I read this from. The same poster said that you can use Thrustmaster grips on a VKG, but it requires a firmware update to make this work.
Great video! As someone who trained, fought, and coached MMA since 2004 I love the fight theme. I have a Gunfighter Mk. II with a left hand Kosomima grip and a right hand MCG grip coming in the mail. Can't wait to try them out.
Dallas Van Winkle congrats on a great purchase. The video was meant to be fun and light. A couple people understood, but many flat out hated it as you can see by the dislikes. Thanks for the support
I could also see it being distracting for people who aren't fight fans as they may not be comfortable or familiar with the format. But for those of us who are, I believe it paid off well!
Great round up! Appreciate all the work that went into researching for this and trying something different to spice it up. Can't wiat to hear how the Kosmosima fairs once it releases.
@@fubarace1027 to be fair to them it's a very small market. DCS and other flight sims seem to be making an ascendency with older gamers in the last couple of years.
I was among the first lucky ones who tested the dual VKB Kosmosima Premium. I say with certainty - Kosmosima it`s the best ergonomics, modularity, materials, quality and software. I laid aside the MCG PRO, and I am flying now only on a pair of Kosmosima grips. Best choise!
@@SilasFarseer 1. I can control absolutely any control on the Kosmosima grip without loosening the grip or interception - I had to change the position of the hand on the MCG Pro to get to some of the upper buttons. Pistol grip shape is also more convenient in itself. 2. The Kosmosima grip itself turned out to be as compact and short as possible. This is convenient both for desktop version, for sidestick and when integrated it into the armrest (my case). MCG is noticeably larger and higher, it`s more suitable for the version with the extension. Do not forget that the MCG was a certain copy of the original grip of the Su-57, and when they designing Kosmosima, it was a free choice in favor of ergonomics. 3. I was sorry to deprive myself of the physical axis of the folding fire-trigger and the analog brake lever on MCG Pro . But, in return, I got a very convenient two-position rapid-fire trigger and a great built-in twist. 4. Twist deserves a special mention, because it is definitely a know-how - they managed to invent how to create accurate twist, has a contactless sensor and dont introduce parasitic movements when controlling the main x/y axis. I did not expect a similar result and was rather skeptical until I personally experienced it. 5. Modularity of some controls. This allowed me to customize a pair of grips to fit my personal desires. Where I wanted to put a single button (on my right grip), or if i changed my mind and put a 4-position hat (on my left grip). In another module-place I removed the ministick, replacing to the 4+1 hat, but on left grip ministick still present for me. 6. if you fly only in aviasims - probably better the MCG Pro, but if only in spacesims - then best choise Kosmosima. If you need a dual stick, then here without options - left grip Kosmosima is indispensable 7. Price. This will be true for those who still don't have the MCG or Kosmosima. Kosmosima is cheaper at the expense of improving the technological design and not at the expense of quality and reliability.
@@YaBlackF0x Fair reply. I prefer maximizing on the inputs of the grip over not having to shift my fingers to reach. Also the size of the grip isn't a measurable factor to me. I'm glad it's available and people like it, but it doesn't seem to be superior to me. It certainly isn't "better for space" as that's just marketing nonsense. Buttons are buttons. Cheers.
MT50 grip and base are being replaced. MT50 CM v2 grip releases in next stock with 35 buttons. The base is being redesigned. WarBRD is not a replacement for the MT50, short throw + extension whereas the WarBRD is only officially approved for 50cm extension with a longer throw at the base more for desktop use, especially when paired with the WarBRD grip.
I have a left and right kosmosima grip on order. I have been disappointed with vkb's customer response but i can not fault their design or build quality. I'm looking forward to the dual kosmosima sticks and hope that the dry clutch will really be amazing in utilizing the left stick for a throttle. Great video, noob! it's the info the community needs with the flight model changes coming out in the near future. thanks for your coverage and dedication to the star citizen community.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 was a different take by making it out to be a boxing match. Rock 'em sock 'em robots we're cool but imho, it may have shortened it up a bit without the announcer schtick. But it was a fun video! I dug it
Loved this vid. As for your issue with your warthogs kicking the bucket, you should look at the fssb mod. My cougar has been running flawlessly since 2006 (maybe longer?)
You can actually swap sticks on the Warthog. I've been running the Virpil MT50 on the Warthog base for a solid 5+ months now. The only drawback is that the analogue break lever on the MT50 only works as a button on the Warthog base, otherwise there is full functionality. As for the video, good content. But me personally I would have wanted to see a more in-depth review between the sticks and less of a comedy fight club. It works as an eye-catch and would have been a neat intro, but kind of kills it going into longer comparisons. The "winner" is a good one, but I would say it's an odd match against the MCG, again, this due to the whole boxing theme as it is otherwise a pretty level playing field for all the sticks minus the Warthog on the longevity department. The MT50 is more of a direct comparison, both in terms of design and functionality. In such a match-up I'd say the victor would be decided primarily on warehouse stock availability, but with a slight favour to the MCG due to its analogue sticks and a metal break lever. MT50 and MCG would be the solid winners for anyone interested in flight sims, but the favour would most certainly tip towards the WarBRD and the upcoming Kosmosima for space sims due to their design focus.
Excellent to see all these sticks compared against one another. Good info as always. I could have done with a bit less of the fight ringmaster stuff... ;) but thanks for putting the effort in as always! I have two Warthogs for HOSAS. Had hoped to get a left handed Warthog but that option seems to have gone silent. Virpil has definitely been a top option as a replacement but it seems like they shot up in price? Not unexpected given their uptick in coverage and popularity.
Keep in mind that the Warthog is a replica military stick first and foremost conceived before the return of spacesims and you don't get lefty sticks in the army. The price and the gimbal problems (it's a 400 Euros set and you require the user to use their own grease and hope the plastic ball doesn't break? Really?) is what made me buy a CH Combatstick instead, after all I play mostly spacesims, never had a joystick with rudder and I mostly needed something reliable.
@@det.bullock4461 I have a CH HOTAS too, had it first before I wanted to go dual stick, but I wasn't happy with it. Calibration issues, even after an RMA, and I couldn't get used to the dual barrel design of the stick. Had I been able to get the left handed Warthog mod I'd have been very pleased. The Virpil stuff was a more expensive option when I bought, but saving a bit longer might have been the right choice. Hindsight is 20-20 😏
@@CarvellFenton Well, I came from a very cheap Saitek and CH was mostly what I could afford that was reliable and available (by the time I needed a new one Saitek went down the drain and I really didn't like the button placement on the Thrustmaster sticks I could afford). I don't really mind the centering mechanism personally and the only issue I had with calibration was with games that default to no deadzone (basically the stick is a bit top heavy and it pitched down a bit, but a very small deadzone solved the problem). Other than that after three years is still going strong and I've been torturing the thing quite bit with spacesims and recently even Ace Combat 7 (no thanks to Bandai/Namco and their stupid Thrustmaster exclusivity). If I could afford to spend 300+ Euros at once I'd probably get that spacesim variation of the Gunfighter MKII that's going to come out but that's more than what I've spent with my Combatstick and Pro Throttle put together and I didn't buy the throttle with it, I did a few months later after confirming it could work with my old spacesims so as not to spend 140/150 Euros on a paperweight (I didn't get more modern games like Elite until a bit later).
We were supposed to get a Z-axis adaptor from VKB, but that never happened. Now we're getting the Kosmosima, which gets a Z-axis built in, but no pinky trigger or flip trigger. That does make me a little sad, but I think the Kosmosima is gonna be superb.
Great work. As always. Would love more detail on how each sticks buttons interact with Star Citizen, especially things like mouse wheels, double triggers, mini sticks, etc. How you can use them, why they might be useful, etc.
WarBRD+MT50CM Grip against Gunfighter II+MCG Pro... there’s your fair fight, which the VKB might just come out on top. Then you can pair up the Delta against the Kosmosima, which again I think the VKB might just come out on top.
Yes the Warthog has a plastic gimble, but at $279 new and a nice, quality grip I didn't see any other option when people are committing highway robbery on eBay for flight sticks and everything not on eBay is back ordered.
I use the Virpil throttle with a cheaper VKB Gladiator. I‘m very happy with both. The only shortcoming is the Gladiators small base. I screwed it onto a wooden cutting board, which unfortunately raises it higher but solves my issue otherwise.
Hoped to have gotten more details on quality of switches and secondary analog axis. Beyond your z-axis bias, this seemed like a murder by VKB if they have more expansive and adjustable gimbal and more options on their sticks. I know you have a much closer relationship with Virpil, so it maybe behooves you to give them a win (however narrow), but maybe that’s why you picked the boxing analogy. they are known for rigged decisions too! :P
Well...that was fun! Different style for you, wouldn't do that too often, but certainly fun! I'm hoping Kosmosina motivates Virpil to FINALLY build a MongoosT50 with Z. Otherwise my money will have to go to VKB. I've paid close attention to Virpil and know my desire is not unique, but they don't seem to want to play ball. The loss will not be mine if they don't, but I think I'd prefer Virpil...IF they decide to come through soon enough. May the best capitalist win!
Top Sticks. Includes Warthog with interior of all plastic, shits on CH Fighterstick on reddit with quality metal interior. Uh huh, sorry but you don't come off as terribly knowledgeable. The only reason I'd get a Warthog is if I wanted to put it on FSSB R3 base to eliminate that problem, and I don't think I'd bother doing that when VKB and VIRPIL are available.
You should have added in that the VKB Gunfighter II is due to have the twist mod available THIS YEAR (I had this confirmed via email, no official date as yet though). That makes the VKB hands down the best - the only time it isn't is if you want the LH stick, and that is pretty niche to be honest. A lot of SC players also like flight sims, so the VKB is far more practical in my opinion. I weighed up Virpil, but the VKB is ahead after looking in depth at the Constellation - the layout of the buttons isn't as ergo dynamic, so VKB with twist mod... There's the winner!
@@NOOBIFIER1337 development of has yes, but not release date (they announced it too early into development, they admitted that). I asked today and got a reply pretty quickly, no firm date for sale but this year, in production soon.
I believe it will add well to the options. To be clear, VKB has had a 4 year head start and is finally focusing on Left and z. It’s great. I like them both and am excited for us the consumer as having options is never a bad thing.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 agreed, far better for us the consumers - it's been a long time since we've seen real development to suit our gaming needs. I'm hoping the VKB twist mod will create a good competition with Virpil. The Constellation is a good start, but there needs to be a LH / RH grip with better layout - the awful layout of buttons and sticks is what turned me off from it and the VKB the win (once the mod is in!).
really enjoyed looking at the differences between the sticks, but we need to remember what thrustmasters goal was for the warthog hotas, to be a repica. the real a10 dosent have analog brakes and other features like the virpl because it is the real thing. just something to keep in mind
Great video, I've never really been a fan of the Warthog.. I really wish the others had better availability. The restock F5 battle has never worked out for me. Last Virpil restock, I left work early to buy... The darn website went down and when it came back up, SOLD OUT. Actually costed me money... left work and missed 4 hours OT.. I was really bummed
One of the best purchases I’ve made for flight simming was the original Virpil base. I paired it with some extensions and my Warthog stick, and it’s nirvana. Very nice video comparison here, things sure have come a long way in the hardware business.
Pretty good review....Although I was leaning VKB for my new HOSAS or HOSASAT setup anyway, the true main decider for me was availability. VKB had everything I wanted in stock and an MKIII Kosmo-SCM-Left & MKIII MCG Pro were in my hands in about one week. The only thing available at Virpil were the pedals and I ordered those. A few weeks later the new MongoosT CM2 throttles came out so I picked up a couple. I still have not used the Virpil throttle or pedals, I'm still using my G29 race sim pedals. Someday I may switch over to the Virpil pedals and hook up the Throttle or maybe just sell them. I'm ok with the G29 pedals at this time and not really hurting for buttons to demand use of the throttle.
Thanks Noob this was a fun and very good video. I had a lot of questions answered and got a good ballpark idea of which stick I'll buy. I'm still running dual T1600M's but I plan on switching soon :D
Do you have any info on the extruded aluminum brackets for desk mounting? Wanting to do something better than the wood ones I built years ago. Cheers!!
Just picked up the vkb gladiator mk2. I also have t16000m and ch fightersick, and I gotta say, the vkb is BY FAR the nicest feeling, at least for the right stick.
Alfredo Santiago if you are looking for accuracy and fine tuning, then yes I definitely recommend upgrading to vkb gladiator mk2, or even the t16000. I think both have about the same level of precision, but the vkb just feels waayy better imo. The durability of the CH fighterstick, which is why I bought it in the first place, is not enough of a selling point for it to be worth it IMO, sure it’ll never break, but you can just feel how inaccurate it is after using a newer stick. I’m also just talking about the non-pro model mk2, not the $300+ pro model. Although one day I’d like to upgrade to one of those really nice ones. I just can’t seem to find any for sale anywhere.
TheNOOBIFIER1337 nice I definitely want to hear what you have to say about them, I have to ask though, how did you get all those cool pro model vkb sticks? Or are there other components you have to buy as well? I’d really like to get in on this restock frenzy:)
pretty awesome. just as a suggestion, maybe include the fighter's salary for price to price comparisons :)

They are practically the same price at that level
@@NOOBIFIER1337 , thank you for the prompt reply. I very much appreciate your attention to detail. Best regards, Sparta Rex.
@Sparta Rex the Virpl Delta appears to be in stock right now.
I ordered vkb gunfighter last week and just recieved it today. Super impressed. Also must say vkb america has fantastic tech support.
Why would you need tech support if they are new?
Someone needs to knock Thrustmaster off their monopoly of flight sim hardware. BS for a $200 add on stick. Those executives are winning big time!
I know that everyone ignores CH Products but it's all metal inside parts and at 110-125$ is BY FAR the best value for what you get.
I do agree, I have use CH for decades those things never break.
For the left hand I will get a Delta grip, for the right hand I will use the Thrustmaster Warthog, because I am also a DCS A-10C pilot.
Thanks for the valuable feedback
Virpil! Virpil! Virpil! Fantastic review! I'm just about to order dual Deltas, so Im happy to see they hung in their in this fight.
I didn't have to push down with excessive pressure on stick or overtighten the cam
lock either.
Back to loving this VKB Gunfighter Mark III Space Combat edition.
I am happy it was a simple fix. Thanks for the update.
In my humble opinion, this is what YT was made for.
Agreed, TM sticks are great on display at Best Buy, but Between just RedLir and I we have a stack of busted TM gear that adds up to about 2700$

Very enjoyable. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I completely agree, there's a number of variables to consider as to whether one should go with one stick or the other and often it comes down to knit picky things or availability when looking to buy
You have a funny streak running through you! You're full of surprises. Not to mention the excellent advice and comparisons in the joystick arena.
This might be the very best flight sim peripherals review/comparo that I've ever seen!

Been using the same CH Fighterstick for close to 10 years, still as good as when I bought it and still as accurate.
That's actually really impressive.
And it's affordable!
Great job testing them all. Cant wait for the HOTAS testing. You should also test HOTAS vs Joystick.
Damn Noobifier answering the questions we've been pondering. Great vid as always!
Ready for the next generation fight. 🥊
I am tracking all that and will report sir

What do you like about it over the vast amount of inputs the MCG Pro offers?
If you need a dual stick, then here without options - left grip Kosmosima is indispensable
7. Price. This will be true for those who still don't have the MCG or Kosmosima. Kosmosima is cheaper at the expense of improving the technological design and not at the expense of quality and reliability.
Thanks for that. I just ordered a left and right kosmosima grip for my gunfighter bases...so excite...only took 2 years
@@YaBlackF0x Fair reply.
Joystick Fight 2022? PLEEEEEASE!

Loved this vid. As for your issue with your warthogs kicking the bucket, you should look at the fssb mod. My cougar has been running flawlessly since 2006 (maybe longer?)
I will but what we really need is a metal interior
@@NOOBIFIER1337 without a doubt! keep up the amazing work, looking forward to seeing the new vkb stick face off
Great start. Because I really want a Joystick later for SC.
As a Warthog owner... I saw that coming. My hope is that Virpil will still be healthy when my Warthog bases wear out like the one you showed.
It’s a great stick until it dies. I have spent so much money on TMWH before VirPil launched
We were supposed to get a Z-axis adaptor from VKB, but that never happened. Now we're getting the Kosmosima, which gets a Z-axis built in, but no pinky trigger or flip trigger. That does make me a little sad, but I think the Kosmosima is gonna be superb.
Awesome production kept me very interested
It's have been a long time since I've been trouble to keep up with the English in a video, so thank for the training ^^
Great work. As always. Would love more detail on how each sticks buttons interact with Star Citizen, especially things like mouse wheels, double triggers, mini sticks, etc. How you can use them, why they might be useful, etc.
Mouse wheel is zoom and mining laser throttle. Super Effective
I so, SO wanna see a rematch of this with the Kosmosima and Constellation Alpha included...
WarBRD+MT50CM Grip against Gunfighter II+MCG Pro... there’s your fair fight, which the VKB might just come out on top. Then you can pair up the Delta against the Kosmosima, which again I think the VKB might just come out on top.
excellent vid m8 , always useful for making a decision .
Yes the Warthog has a plastic gimble, but at $279 new and a nice, quality grip I didn't see any other option when people are committing highway robbery on eBay for flight sticks and everything not on eBay is back ordered.
Cheers Noob... great review... very hard to find good comparisons out there!
I’m happy sir
Great summary video. It's exciting to see so many high-end sticks on the market now. I hope they continue to innovate with further revisions.
Thanks. More conventional reviews in the future
I’m keeping an eye on this, including a future review on the Constellation stick, for the time when I can afford a stick.
I use the Virpil throttle with a cheaper VKB Gladiator. I‘m very happy with both. The only shortcoming is the Gladiators small base. I screwed it onto a wooden cutting board, which unfortunately raises it higher but solves my issue otherwise.
I love my dual stick Virpil and Virpil throttle. I may buy two more grips of different design type soon.

What are the left and right hand usable joysticks? Is there a pack with a left and right hand usable Hotas and rudder control pedals for some 3500€ ?
Hoped to have gotten more details on quality of switches and secondary analog axis. Beyond your z-axis bias, this seemed like a murder by VKB if they have more expansive and adjustable gimbal and more options on their sticks.
I know you have a much closer relationship with Virpil, so it maybe behooves you to give them a win (however narrow), but maybe that’s why you picked the boxing analogy. they are known for rigged decisions too! :P
No, I believe once I test Kosmosima, it will be a VKB Win
Great Fight of with as Usual only one winner but lots of contenders.
Well Done
So much content, thanks for the reviews you just cant find these sort of videos readily
lol.... this was awesome! Well done sir... well done
Glad you enjoyed it
You should have added in that the VKB Gunfighter II is due to have the twist mod available THIS YEAR (I had this confirmed via email, no official date as yet though).
Lol. Twist mod has been announced since 2016...

Man that Delta Grip looks almost too good for space sims
One of the best purchases I’ve made for flight simming was the original Virpil base. I paired it with some extensions and my Warthog stick, and it’s nirvana. Very nice video comparison here, things sure have come a long way in the hardware business.
Every bit as much as the great review, I really enjoyed the style that this was presented in. Remarkably well done.
Ha ha. Cool vid. SO much information.
Solid plan
Thanks Noob this was a fun and very good video. I had a lot of questions answered and got a good ballpark idea of which stick I'll buy. I'm still running dual T1600M's but I plan on switching soon :D

Great video. Very informative. I agree with your result for a space sim. I too am interested in the Kosmosima.
Flight announcer - clever theme, Noooooooooobifier!!
Just picked up the vkb gladiator mk2. I also have t16000m and ch fightersick, and I gotta say, the vkb is BY FAR the nicest feeling, at least for the right stick.
I have a CH combatstick, you think is worth the upgrade to vkb?, an I am only interested in acurracy and fine adjustments.
I am reviewing gladiator soon.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 you didnt had the all times good CH sticks.
I’ve kept my eye out for months now and I can’t find any on sale anywhere!
Edit- nvm I read your other comments and saw what you said about that:)..... however, I still wanted to ask, do you need to buy the warBRD base, and a grip on top of that? Or are there other components you have to buy as well? I’d really like to get in on this restock frenzy:)
I love seeing you explore new styles! For this one, I suggest bringing your voice up a bit louder / clearer while still maintaining the effect
Cool approach :)
Great coverage (although the fight voice over got a little old). Don't think I've seen a comparison of so many contenders before.
