2023 Marble League Title Fight Update (As of event 12/16) Points standings starts at 15:37 Savage Speeders lead by 4 points over the Bumblebees at 135 to the bees 131. Pinkies (-15), Raspberry Racers (-15), and the O'rangers (-16) are all fighting for the title of 2023 ML Champion. the Rojo Rollers (-28), Team Galactic (-29), Cazy Cat's Eyes (-31), Midnight Wisps (-32), and Team Momo (-35) Can join the title fight if they can score 10 or more points in the upcoming elimination race. Snowballs (-40), Shining Swarm (-47), Mellow Yellow (-47), and Gliding Glaciers (-49) can get into the title fight with 15 or points scored in the next event. Anything less than 15 points will put them on the edge of elimination in event 14. Team Plasma (-57) and Thunderbolts (-59) are on the edge of elimination with 4 events remaining. A collapse in the Elimination race for both teams will result in them being the first 2 teams out of title contention. Hold your heads high though, Thunderbolts. At least you didn't pull a Balls of Chaos and score 64 points, setting the record for the worst points total in ML history.
This is setting up to be one of the best Marble Leagues yet. The Speeders are on top, yeah. But last year's champions are gunning for them, the Bumblebees are dead set on breaking the host curse, we have a dark horse contender in the form of the Rollers, and even the fan-favorite Orangers are within spitting distance of 1st. Whatever happens, this is hype.
Hey nice, a fellow SCADie! I also tend to vote for the Green Ducks (even have a shirt for them), but they sadly missed out this time. Hopefully the Bumblebees score well enough to make up for it.
OooooooOOOOOOOOooooooOooooo Well thanks to mellow yellow snowballs making sure we didn't get dead last we still in the running still near the top just 20 points off 1 more first place can change everything
The Wave is, historically, one of the most difficult events to tactically prepare for. It’ll be fascinating to see what coaches do to maximize their scores. (Recaps below) Heat 1: Bumblebees’ second run is an example of why it’s so important to plan for things to go awry. Everything went out the window as soon as they made contact in the early waves. Heat 2: shambolic performance by the O’Rangers. Tangerin is a well-experienced marble, but that’s gonna get them some unpleasant looks in the locker room. A 2. Yikes. Heat 3: a shockingly good performance by the Thunderbolts, no pun intended. That 45 was solid, even if they faltered in the second run. Heat 4: these two teams appeared to be having a lose-off. They need to refund their fans’ tickets for this event. Heat 5: oh man. What a terrible performance by my beloved Cat’s Eyes in the first run. Disaster. Choking the league in the mid-game as usual, while the Pinkies looked like they were in championship form once again. CCE have just plummeted into the mid table. Heat 6: a strong showing by Plasma, while the Wisps’ doldrums continue. Not quite Cats’ Eyes shambolic, but shambolic nonetheless. Heat 7: it would have been interesting to see how Galactic did with their unorthodox strategy. Still a good run, but one has to wonder if they would have surpassed the Speeders with their initial strategy. Hope there’s no permanent tension between the teams’ coaches. Heat 8: this is the heat aspiring marble athletes should study. What a great battle. Honestly, these two could have been 1 and 2 if they weren’t competing against each other. Overall, today’s event exhibited just how much the opposition matters in your heat, as Momo and the Pinkies benefitted from having absolute dumpster-fires sharing the waves with them.
Again, a lovely event, well done competitors. @JMR team: have you considered showing the actual sum of points after the second run? For me the insert is a bit confusing without the total result. Kept me busy calculating on my own. Also, I think I've spotted an error in the heat with the Raspberry Racers. The displayed rank was not correct. Anyway, can't wait for the next event. Momo finally catching their second wind!
Wow every team has a medal?? That means everyone got to celebrate sometime :) !
Great event! Love seeing all the bees everywhere during all the events!
Petition for the Marble League to add the rule qualifier 'unless it's really awesome' to any and all future events
Raspberry still maintaining its spot. keep up the consistency raspberry just one clutch on the gold this year is ours !
I've been a bumblebees fan for many years now and it feels amazing to see them placing so high on the list
Good running from the Snowballs and Gliding Glaciers. A solid first run from both. But the consistency helped the Gliding Glaciers.
You should put two giant marbles on the double door's as security.
SPOILERS
As a Crazy Cats Eyes fan, I am so disappointed to see how we've fallen from the beginning of the league. Come on guys, don't lose steam now! Keep going!
As a Midnight Wisps fan myself... I feel you
Great event but I was missing a total score number in the graphics after the second run that each heat took, would have made it much easier to keep track of standings throughout the event.
Spoilers:
We’ve hit gold! Come on Pinkies! It was a rough time over the last few events, 4 events in a row in the bottom half, but what a way to bounce back! Had a real good feeling about this one. Stay strong, just four to go, let’s get that top 3, or maybe even the title 😮💖
Honestly, I had kinda lost hope. But now it seems we could win this thing. Let's go Pinkies
#PINKIEPOWER
If we can be at least another podium win, we could win another season. 🎉🎉 I'm nervous about the Elim race but I have faith on the og team. LETS GOO PINKIES🎉🎉🎉
I'm a diehard Wisps fan, but I gotta say, especially after last year, I hope the Pinkies keep doing well.
I am Pinkies to the grave
Would love to see a 4 team variant of this with a wider wave
I’d also love the chaos of 4 teams on the standard wave
Momos and Pinkies on a podium? I might start crying from happiness.
the tension between savage speeders and team galactic... in the first heat you see a speeder knock a galactic into the catch basin and then in the second heat you see team galactic return the favor. Something tells me the savage speeders weren't too happy with galactic trying to change things up.
So Savage Speeders!!!!
This Is the most Chaotic wave Event of all wave events.
Spoiler comment
For one, the camera work is incredible in this event. I don’t know what you changed per say, but keep it up if it’s possible!
Also the pinkies are in third now!!!!!! I was getting worried because they were getting lost in the shuffle the last few events. Keep it up!
11:52 ahahahahaha, Speedy TOTALLY pushed that Galactic marble into the red. XD
Fierce competitors always. The Speeders know what they are doing. If it's in the rules, it's part of the event!
@@ilshaguides
Right in the next run a Galactic pushed a Speeder into the red. :D
@@matosz23 They learn quick. 🤣
Speedy got his revenge against Astron after he fumbled him in maze with a disrespectful push XD
This back and forth between bumblebees and speeders is very exciting
been looking forward all day for the next event, glad its finally here
I almost spit out my drink when I saw that galactic line up.
I was in shock that they tried to implement it.
Jelle always goes all out for his marble set ups! I wish I had a fraction of what Jelle has. Well deserved, Jelle!
It’s so close! Come on Wisps, we need to step up our game
Team Galactic should've been allowed to do that.
They were clearly trying to hide something like an injury, etc. Didn't want a bump like what happened to O Rangers.
Big wave to everyone! LOL
unfortunately its really hard to have a good overview since the runs arent added to show the total and no graphic for the standings except in the end. so things could be a bit clearer. but overall the quality of production is so nice! loving every event.
😱😭😭 MELLOW YELLOW 🟡 back to Boot Camp, along with the Snow Balls and CCE
If it wasn't for that shove from Speeders (really unsportsmanlike, didn't seem like an accident, it was a deliberate push the like of which has rarely been seen in these events, really testing the limits), Galactic would have gotten gold.
Shoving is legal in this event
3:58 The 4th oranger seemed to get thrown up over the first bump and slammed back down into Tangerin, slowing him down.
#FoundRoldo:
At 5:37 and 5:46, he is seen sitting at the hurdle on lane 4 of the running track (towards the left of your screen at 5:46), watching the Swarm and the Thunderbolts from there. 😃
This is going to be such a tight finale. I feel like the Speeders, who are sitting in second at the start of this event, can taste the blood in the water.
Seeing a new event posted makes my whole day.
I would've loved to have seen how that cheeky 3/2 formation would've panned out...
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O'RANGERS!!!!!
It's tough being a CCE fan outside of Marbula One season...just a monumental choke job in the 2nd half of this year's Marble League 🤦♂
2023 Marble League Title Fight Update (As of event 12/16)
Points standings starts at 15:37
Savage Speeders lead by 4 points over the Bumblebees at 135 to the bees 131.
Let's go Savage Speeders!
Going through a bad breakup and these videos always bring me so much joy
spoilers!!
so proud of pinkies! definitely one of my favorite teams to support and watch in the league!
Team momo all the way!!! Cracked the top 10 after a very slow start!
As a Tennessee Vols and a SCAD Bees fan, I'm always cheering for the O'Rangers and Bumblebees!
Hey nice, a fellow SCADie! I also tend to vote for the Green Ducks (even have a shirt for them), but they sadly missed out this time. Hopefully the Bumblebees score well enough to make up for it.
@@JonPonikvar And for me too, I'm an O'rangers fan
life as an orangers fan is tough
OooooooOOOOOOOOooooooOooooo
Well thanks to mellow yellow snowballs making sure we didn't get dead last we still in the running still near the top just 20 points off 1 more first place can change everything
It’s tough being a Gliding Glaciers fan… barely missed out on the podium by 2 points and failed to even move out of 14th place 😢
Can we look at the rojo rollers for a second? They’re in 6th overall now. That’s smashing expectation!
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
This video is so good it makes me question the nature of reality.
The Wave is, historically, one of the most difficult events to tactically prepare for. It’ll be fascinating to see what coaches do to maximize their scores. (Recaps below)
Heat 1: Bumblebees’ second run is an example of why it’s so important to plan for things to go awry.
Even if that one marble in the first run didn't go in the basin, it probably would've gotten them only 8th or 9th at best. But yeah, that was painful.
Go Speeders! #speediskey
Very happy for the Pinkies and Team Momo this event! Keep it up! (please Momo i'm begging you)
Pinkie Power, But I am not going to lie. When I saw we was up against the Crazy Cat's Eyes I was ready to accept an L. lol
Good job to all teams!
Yeees! Thats what im talking about. So needed.
Yes Pinkies! So good to see you back in form. Keep the dream rolling
Savage speeders for the win let’s goooo
I feel like that this Marble League will be like the Marble League 2021, I mean look at the standings they’re so close and nobody is still eliminated in the running
In regards to the savage speeders:
An excellent performance today, and I’m very happy that’s we have taken back the top spot. Some really fun events upcoming, so it’s going to be an absolutely thrilling final quarter of the season to watch at the very least. Of course, we excel at races, so I have high hopes for us going into the last four events. Can we take home the victory? Only time will tell, but I have faith in our team.
#speediskey #gregwoodsforpresident
I’m kinda getting nervous about the rivalry (I’m an O’rangers fan just FYI)
What amazes me is that we're in the top spot, and yet we have no gold medals. We've pretty consistently just missed out on the podiums, and we keep placing above the other folks at the top of the standings. It's still anybody's game, but as I've said before, I'd rather be at the top with four events to go than elsewhere. #SpeedIsKey
@@Karthos1000 O'rangers? Any thoughts? I know today was definitely not their best day.
@@WillMellquist I'm sure you'll be right up there until the final event. Who knows how this'll all shake out?
@@Karthos1000 Let's see....
Elimination Race: Dunno but seeing as last year's was bad, I expect the same from the O's this year.
G-Force: I have no idea because this event is new (although it is kinda crazy that the G-Force mini tourney was so popular that they decided to bring it to the Marble League!)
Sand Rally: I am still scarred after Kinnowin's DNF last year and I would NOT be surprised if it happened this year too.
Honeydome: It's M1. They should know this but they'll find a way to screw it up somehow.
Although I'm not complaining cause this year's performance is tight.
