    If you wanted these to hold water and the clay was mid range, could you glaze the interior and re fire? Or will that remove the beautiful work on the outside?

      @@Klei.northwest yes I am pretty sure it will be gone. You might try painting varnish on the inside to make it hold water but even that may distort the outside.

    Can you use horse manure? I'm wondering is use shavings out of my horse's stall would work.

      Make sure it is very dry. It may not come out exactly the same but it should work fine.

    Does it matter to lite the barrel from the bottom, thru a vent, or from the top?
