You're doing the Lord's work Brother man that's HOT like Johnny did it he'd say hurrrrl yeah thanks Sir you freaking nailed and you is the only option in the Internet you're filling in all the gaps nothing but❤
Dam, awesome job! My guitar teacher in 1977 told me that was the best jam out there. Been a Johnny Winter fan since. You definitely Captured that Live , as the original album was named, great job, saving so I can steal some of those licks ;0)
Wow….magistral interpretation of my favorit song of master johnny winter that saw him in concert in cazorla blues festival in Spain little time before his death…You are great music men ! Very very great ! Thanks for this !
Absolument fantastique !!! I love Johnny Winter and this song makes me so happy !!! I can give ten years of my life to play like you !!! Merci beaucoup ! (I'am french)
@@mrcastle incredible tone from strat and what I love the solo was yours and it fitted the song ... this is my favourite Johnny Winter song and my introduction to Johnny Winter in late 70s and his live album
@@mrcastle There was a post on FB regarding Charlie Musselwhite. The post reminded me of a Little Walter song called "Blues With a Feeling" later done by early Fleetwood Mac. I don't play guitar but at 69 I've been around long enough to be able to discern between those who have excelled in their technique and those who can really play. Its that third dimension, I'll call depth, that escapes many players. Johnny had it and so do you: Blues with a feeling. It all gets down to communication. I remember seeing a very popular guitarist who's name will go unmentioned (KWS) as a surprise guest. He on more than one occasion launched into his guitar solo and I couldn't help but ask myself "Where is he going with this?" He was bouncing all over the place like a ball in an arcade game. Maybe its me and I just didn't get it but I don't think so. This is all to say that I've always been a fan of Johnny Winter and now a fan of yours. I also believe that all successful musicians are music historians. They know what came before them and are smart enough to build on what has been successful in the past. Like you, they pay homage to those early pioneers of music, not just blues but all genres of music. Thanks for sharing your homage to Johnny. I've seen him locally a few times before he left us.
@@joeldrubin9832 thanks for sharing these amazing insights Joel!
