I beg you! Please react to TVXQ's recently released Killing Voice. TVXQ debuted with 5 members. At that time, neither Yunho nor Changmin were the main vocalists. Yunho was the main dancer and sub-rapper, and Changmin was also the sub-vocalist and was in charge of the high tones. The efforts they have made since the three who are good at singing decided to quit are amazing. I can cry.

I’m always happy to see people discover TVXQ. They’re iconic. Their Korean work has been solo stuff these past few years, most recently “Devil” by Changmin and “Thank U” by Yunho.
Yunho released another solo work (Reality Show EP) a few months ago!

Rebel is their title track from their 20&2 studio album to celebrate their 20th year. they had a pre-release track called Down, which also has an mv. you can check it out as well 😆
TVXQ once had 5 members but in 2009, 3 of them left. they came back as a duo in 2011. they’re also active in Japan. Yunho and Changmin also have solo work.

As a study of art history, this mv is fantastic which contains various symbols and iconic images of culture and visual art. Very powerful visual expression and also brilliant. I watched this a couple of times yesterday 😂😂😂just LOVE this ❤

TVXQ are something else. If you want a glimpse of their vocals, go check out 'down' This song was cool but they show off in Down. These guys are legends when it comes to vocals. I'm not that familiar with their old stuff but I have seen a few lives of them and they blew my mind away. Talented AF!

Both songs are hard to put down.
TVXQ is my favourite group and artist ever. And they have been with me during highs and lows. Please do more reactions to them because so many of their mvs are masterpieces and have stories in them and all their solo stuff + jyj are also amazing (My fave would be Mine - Jaejoong, one of the members that left. That one is a true masterpieces.). Though I will warn you that if you react to their older mvs, especially Japanese, a lot of them are like 5+ minutes. Also, it would be good to react to songs that really highlight their abilities properly. Changmin's vocals are some of the best in the industry and this didnt make it justice.

Max Changmin is one of the best vocalists in the industry. Hope you react to songs that showcase his vocals more, like their other recent mv Down, their Killing Voice, or his solo songs. U-Know has great solo work as well. TVXQ are legends!
TVXQ's "Rebel" is their lead track from their 9th full-length Korean album, 20&2 -- 20 years and still 2 members strong -- which was released on their anniversary, Dec. 26, as a celebration of their 20th anniversary.
You now need to see them perform "Rebel" with the choreography live. You think it looks crazy in the MV, but they actually do most of that all live as well.
If you haven't yet, you should also check out their pre-release track from this album, called "Down." And you definitely need to check out their Killing Voice performance.
TVXQ truly are all-time legends in the music industry. As an SM Entertainment group, it's no surprise that they are outstanding vocalists. TVXQ was originally supposed to be a purely acapella group, so they all have amazing vocals. They actually have several acapella performances in their early days that really showcase how amazing they were as vocalists. TVXQ is one of the reasons why SM is known as a vocal powerhouse and why the company has come to be known for having some of the best dancers and vocalists in the industry.
Here is some background to help you understand the dynamics of TVXQ better. TVXQ (English and Chinese)/DBSK (Korean)/ Tohoshinki (Japanese), which each are the abbreviations/acronyms of the words in each language that translates to mean "Rising Gods of the East," debuted in 2003 as a 5 member group. But, in 2010 three of their members left SM Entertainment and the group and formed a new group called JYJ -- the initials of the members: Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong. (Up until recently, JYJ was still a group and they still produced music, but because they left SM Entertainment -- one of the most powerful and influential companies in the industry -- on less than ideal terms, it has made it more difficult for them to promote themselves and their music. So the members of JYJ are more known as actors and producers than they are as singers now.)
However, Max/Changmin and U-Know/Yunho continued as TVXQ as a duo. As you can see, even now as a duo they are so talented that they have the vocal range to cover all the parts of a song between the two of them, including rap.
Changmin (the youngest member) was 15 and U-Know was 17 years old when they debuted. Therefore, although they are one of the senior Kpop groups, Changmin is only 35 and U-Know is 37. TVXQ is SM's most senior group that is still active, but U-Know and Changmin are still younger than, or the same age as, many of the members of the legendary groups who came after them within their generation. They are best friends with Super Junior and they pretty much all grew up together. Changmin is also best friends with Minho from SHINee. And Xiumin from EXO says Changmin was one of the reason why he auditioned for SM because he wanted to meet Changmin and become like him.
As you heard, Changmin is known for his powerful high notes -- even more powerful than Onew or Jonghyun from SHINee or Chen and Baekhyun from EXO -- he literally has one of the widest note ranges of almost any Kpop artist. In a high note battle he always wins.
It wouldn't be a TVXQ/Changmin song if we didn't get to hear at least one unbelievable high note from him. (Fun fact: Changmin got married in 2020 and he became a father to a boy last year.)
U-Know is known for his dancing and his passion for dancing and singing. He is also the rapper of the group. (U-Know truly loves what he does and doesn't hide it. He will tell you he is proud of his accomplishments and he is proud of his work. His off-the-charts passion and intensity is kind of a running joke within the industry. It's one of the things he is most known for.)
The funny thing is personality-wise, Changmin and U-Know are complete opposites in almost every way. Changmin is quiet, calm and level headed and prefers to be alone; and U-Know is loud, high energy, intense and prefers to be with a group of people.
Tohoshinki (TVXQ) are one of the most famous singers in Japan as well, even among Japanese artists. And like SHINee and BoA, etc., they are so popular in Japan that they are considered part of the mainstream music scene. TVXQ has one of the biggest worldwide fan bases and they sell out some of the largest concert venues in the world. They are one of SM Entertainment's top selling groups, easily selling out concert tours around the world.
TVXQ's fandom is Cassiopeia and their fan color is pearl red -- which is why you see one of the primary colors in most of TVXQ's MVs is red -- and when you attend a TVXQ concert you will see an ocean of red. Welcome to the Cassiopeia fandom. (Their fandom is named after the 5-starred constellation, Cassiopeia, because they originally were 5 members who were supposed to be gods who came from the stars.) If you like TVXQ then you are a Cassi. (In Japan their fans are called BigEast because Tohoshinki are Gods of the East and they have one of the largest fandoms.)

Love these guys. Yunho goes low and Max goes insanely high. Max's voice is showcased more in Down that was the first song dropped for this album which I know has been dropped in the requests. I thought you had heard Max before-have to ask Taija. Have you not seen his Devil MV? Their solo stuff is really good too. As others have said their earlier song Mirotic with all 5 is really good one too. I believe there was a bit of controversy surrounding that one.

I really dislike the song, and wish SM had put more effort into their 20 year anniversary. It's Carol of the Bells and the Pirates of the Caribbean theme, with random bits and bass in between. I think it's lazy songwriting saved by two great performers. Just my opinion. Please react to their older songs, though, especially OT5 songs like Mirotic and Rising Sun, and Catch Me, Keep Your Head Down and Something. SM was built on SNSD and DBSK.
