I like this, icebreaker games are always great with new students
great !! great!!! i am so happy .. Before your games , i were not able to play any games . But, now , your videos are my teacher , my best teacher .. and i noticed all of my student started liking me again .. wow.....
A couple of games we played in the 50's and 60's, grades 2 to 5... the teacher whispered a sentence into the first student's ear in the 1st row and that student had to whisper the sentence into the ear of the person behind them, and so on, down the 1st row, up the next row, etc. (desks were always in rows back then)... until the message was passed to the last person in the last row - message could only be said ONCE, no repeats. If a student didn't hear it, they had to guess as close to what they thought it was to the next person. It was funny to hear what the last person relayed to the class - it was always quite different - and funny - from what the teacher then later told them she had started with! It taught students how gossip and other talk can be misinterpreted or distorted, I guess. We just thought it was funny! The other game was called 7-up. The teacher picked out 7 students to come to the front of the room (she always picked the ones sitting the straightest, hands clasped together). All other students put their head down on their desk and covered their faces/eyes with their arms (no peaking - though some always tried!) and the 7 students went quietly around and chose someone by tapping them on the head. When a student got 'tapped' they raised their hand, still leaving their faces covered. When all the 7 students finished and were back at the front of the room, the teacher told everyone to uncover their face, and the ones tapped to stand up. Then one at a time the 7 tapped students had to guess who it was out of the 7 at the front that tapped them. If they guessed right, they took their place at the front, and that person sat back down. They could pick someone else to tap next time or stay with the same person. Sometimes you could tell who it was by the look on their face, lol! The winner was the one who was able to stay up at the front the longest by fooling someone each time.
Two nice games, Thanks

Are you looking for something sport orientated or any types of activities will do?
love it and i'll apply it in my classes
I have one game, it might be risky though ok so in class someone has to say something, say the word was pencil, the other person has to so that word and then you have to say it louder then he has to say it louder than you and so on and so forth, the first person to, not say it loud enough, chicken out or get caught loses
Very nice

Ice Breaker is the name of this game!
great stuff!
ı like your voice more than the game :)
very good game activity
AWESOME!!! THANKYOU!
nice, but the kids dont have to do so much, They should create the questions too.
I agree. I write a few models on the board and ask them to brainstorm more. I use two different colours and put them in two different beanies so they take one from each beanie. That's more student-centred and more fun.
Ashkan Ahmadi you should put a vid for this game. Thanks for the previous one and gonna do it in my class. You know what, i 'm going to teach my students how to ask questions first then deal with game . English is our second language in my country unfortunately for us!!
Sure, it is optional. There are different ways to make this activity more challenging.
hi broo..so awesome game..I'll do it in my class thanks bro...
Nice... Inspiring...
Very great support resources. but my question is, how do u introduce a topic.
You can limit the nouns that your student write on the paper to the chosen topic of your choice, it won't as surprisingly fun as the original concept but it might still serve its purpose.
How the hell this got million views
Thank you :)
This is a great game
